Great American Ghost Premiere New Music Video
Boston-based metalcore outfit Great American Ghost have dropped a music video for their newly released cover of Deftones' track “Hole In The Earth.” Originally appearing as the lead single from Deftones’ 2006 album “Saturday Night Wrist,” the song has been reimagined through Great American Ghost’s aggressive lens.
The band recorded the cover with GRAMMY-winning producer Will Putney (Body Count, Fit For An Autopsy) and Steve Seid, while Chris Klumpp of LIMBS directed the accompanying music video, which was filmed at Ghost Hit Recording in West Springfield, MA.

Bleed From Within Premiere New Single & Video
Scottish metalcore stalwarts Bleed From Within have unveiled their latest single, “A Hope In Hell,” ahead of the release of their upcoming album, “Zenith,” due out April 4th. The album, which features guest appearances from members of Mastodon and Sylosis.
The accompanying music video, directed by Pavel Trebukhin, captures the intensity and emotion of the song. Trebukhin, who also directed the video for the album’s previous single, “In Place Of Your Halo,” brought his signature cinematic style to this latest visual offering.

Thy Art Is Murder Premiere New Single
Australian deathcore band Thy Art Is Murder has just released their first new single since the tumultuous launch of their 2023 album Godlike. That release was marked by the band’s decision to part ways with vocalist CJ McMahon due to his controversial remarks on gender identity. The separation came only days before the album’s debut, prompting the group to recruit Tyler Miller to re-record McMahon’s vocals, creating a challenging rollout.
Now, with those events behind them, the new track “Through Blood I Purify” signifies the official start of the Miller-led chapter of the band. A lyric video for the song has been made available online below.

Upholding an uncompromising vision with clear intention, Great American Ghost know exactly what they want to say about their community, the greater world around them, and humanity as a species.
Today the band announce "Tragedy Of The Commons," their fourth full-length offering and SharpTone Records debut, set for release 31st January 2025.
Great American Ghost have also unveiled the new single "Lost In The Outline," which you can check out below.
On the Will Putney produced record, Great American Ghost transmit their message without filter delivered through a combination of basement-born hardcore spirit, staggering metallic precision, polemic lyrical provocations, and unexpectedly arresting melodies.
Set on examining our basest instincts as a society, vocalist Ethan Harrison expands: "We are a political band, and we always have been. We integrate ‘extreme views’ into what we do, which is ‘extreme music’. Rather than write another generally political album, we tried to play into broader themes of hopelessness. Normal people are losing control on a constant basis. 'Tragedy Of The Commons' is a statement about exploitation. If two people share finite resources, one person will eventually exploit those resources and hurt the other person. Citizens don’t have enough money to eat and live in this country, but our government is spending billions on funding other armies around the world that are being used to kill other poor people. 'Tragedy Of The Commons' boils down to this fundamental exploitation of the less fortunate." More...
