"That's right, we are back with a new musical roller coaster record that will be sure to harsh your mellow. We have crept outside of our box to write the MOST unlikely #12 collection yet. Warbringer Gives Finntroll Tour Report
Warbringer has issued the following tour report along with the announcement that they will be supporting Soilwork on their upcoming tour:
"So we're back in N. America touring the US and Canada with FINNTROLL. It was quite a rush as we flew directly in from Amsterdam (as Holland was our last European show with Sworn Enemy/All Shall Perish) into Philadelphia and had to get our butts down to Jaxx in Springfield the next day to start this tour. It was a bit chaotic but we want to thank everyone who responded to our post for a ride.
"This tour has been great! It feels good to be back home and playing in front of metal audiences and sharing a bus with the 'Trolls has been awesome. It's been some time since we played the US, as we pretty much spent all summer in Europe, and it's nice to feel the energy of the audience every night. Merch sales have been good too - thanks! Am I Blood Drummer Posts Studio Diary
Am I Blood drummer Mickey has posted a new studio diary about recording the drums for the band's upcoming new album:
"As I promised you, there's a somekind of diary for you about recording the drums for our upcoming album.
"I arrived to Am I Blood's HQ and a very own studio in the middle of August. I recieved all the demoversions of the songs a couple of months ago so I had a lot of time to practise all the beats down..so Janne and I were both very optimistic and full of energy.
"Because almost all the guitars and basses were already recorded with the demo-drums I only had to lay down all the drums perfectly on my own. More...

Bayfest Courting AC/DC For 2009 Music Festival
Sarnia, Ontario, Canada's The Observer reports that organizer Michele Stokley has confirmed Bayfest is trying to sign AC/DC for next summer's outdoor music festival.
The Australian rockers announced last week they will tour for the first time in eight years in support of their new album, "Black Ice," which hits stores in October.
"The agency we've always worked with represents (AC/DC)," she said. "They're one of the larger bands we're going after. They're definitely on the wish list. The feelers are already out there."
Landing the rock 'n roll hall-of- famers depends on money, tour dates and whether they'll agree to an outdoor venue.
Stokley said if the band's tour takes them halfway across the world during next July it would prove to be a challenge. But some bands do make the flight back.
"Aerosmith, they were over and played Russia, had five days off and then came to us in Sarnia," she said. "And they loved it here. They hated it in Russia."

Motörhead’s "Motörizer" Makes Big Debut on Charts
For a band with a history that spans three decades, it is a challenge in itself for Motörhead to live up to even their own previous achievements. However, 2008 proves to be a huge year for the Grammy award winners. With the August 26 release of Motörizer, Motörhead has broken their own sales records and Billboard top 200 chart debut history, Their first week of sales has placed Motörhead in the top 100 overall charts (#82 to be exact), and top 5 on the Indie Charts.
The pre-release attention that Motörizer received was intense and justified. As the album artwork adorned the enormous backdrop on their high-profile Metal Masters Tour, Motörhead reintroduced their fans to some classic tunes, while also debuting songs off of Motörizer. Though this "tour of the year" has just concluded, Motörhead has now set out across the US once again, as headliners of the Volcom Tour with the Misfits.
In addition to these two monstrous tours, Motörhead has been seen on magazine covers around the world, heard on nearly every radio airwave, and will have their song "Rock Out" used as the theme song for the WWE pay per view show "Unforgiven." In addition to countless other radio, print, and television opportunities, it has also just been announced that AT&T will be airing the Motörhead commercial for another 4 months due to its popularity. Motörhead has once again delivered a well-received record that continues to validate their status as "legendary."
The Red Chord Dismisses Guitarist
The Red Chord has apparently parted ways with guitar player Mike Keller, who sent Lambgoat the following statement:
"A couple days ago I got a call from one of the guys informing me they made a mutual decision to become a four-piece. They offered little in ways of explanation but I can admit that in the past few tours I had grown apart from the rest of the band, both personally and musically. I was always kind of the oddball new guy of the group and was never really made to feel perfectly welcome. Things ended abruptly, unexpectedly, and weirdly but I hold no animosity. I believe I was ready for the next thing anyway.
"The past year and a half has been a great ride full of terrific memories and new friendships. Thanks to all the bands and fans, and anyone else who helped me out along the way.
"I'm not quite done with music yet, so please check out my future endeavors, including my solo project - Meek Is Murder, which I'm the process of turning into an actual band. Word."
