Too Pure To Die Readies Trustkill Debut, "Confess"

TOO PURE TO DIE is set to release their Trustkill debut album "Confess" on January 13, 2009, co-produced by Zeuss (THROWDOWN, SHADOWS FALL) and HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta. You can check out some in-studio photos of the band and Zeuss here.

Paul Zurlo comments: "We are all very excited to release the new songs we have been working so hard on! The album is a first time contribution for some of us and it has brought on a renewed energy. We incorporated elements of everything from melody and rock, to metal, and of course, breakdowns. There is a blend of something for everyone on this record! Lyrically it touches on real life situations and struggles that one would face on a day to day basis. I've never been one to write about getting my heart broken or whining about things no one gives a shit about. I've always preferred to "keep it real" and this new record is as real as it gets. We have very high expectations for the new material and feel it returns to where we came from but is also a step toward the future!"

Sound And Fury Announces Fall Tour w/ Bang Camaro

Sound and Fury is continuing their Fall US tour alongside Boston based ‘80s enthusiasts Bang Camaro. "Bang Camaro are really great and we're really excited to be touring with them and its gonna be a kick ass party," commented Sound and Fury frontman Luke Metcalf.

Toronto's Sound and Fury are flying high off their self-titled debut full-length album, which was released through Rebel Youth Records/MRI-RED Distribution. The band's refreshing approach to modern rock combines the thunderous riffing of AC/DC with the raw energy of the Ramones. The band's explosive live show has been converting loyal fans opening for everyone from pop-punkers Sum 41 to Aussie rockers Airbourne. Sound and Fury’s unbridled power can be witnessed in the group’s brand new video for “Teenage Rampage,” which can be seen online at the band's website.

Boston based Bang Camaro are the perfect tour companion to aid Sound and Fury's whiskey "rawk" show. The band consists of three guitar players, a bass player, a drummer, and anywhere from ten to twenty singers. The songs remind the listener of arena rock from the mid to late 80s, but with a strange twist. This band has no lead vocals, only guitar solos and choruses sung by the band and the mob of extras. The group is touring in support of their self-titled debut album.

Here are the Sound And Fury tour dates with Bang Camaro: More...

Ava Inferi to Enter the Studio In November

AVA INFERI will enter the studio in November to begin recording their third album, "Blood of Bacchus," which will include songs entitled "Fireflies," "A Witch she was, the Witch I am," "Lights," "Last Sign of Summer," and "All the Colours of the Dark".

"The studio has now been chosen and the majority of the votes landed on Top Room Studio "(ULVER, ARCTURUS, MAYHEM) in Norway (again)", mainman Rune Eriksen comments.

"We have been wandering those territories at earlier stages of our career but it's with renewed passion we enter the woods once more. Chief technician Finstad + 1 will be supervising and doing the magic this album deserves."

"We will head into the studio (armed to the teeth with red wine) on Monday the 24th of November and finish off the ritual at Winter Solstice. I believe this is just enough time to capture what we have in store this time around."

"I'd say that as far the material goes, we are more than 80% done with the music, or perhaps closer to 85%, actually. All basic fundaments, tons of layers, rhythmic and vocal lines have been crafted and we are so very curious of the final outcome of this album. Emanating Bacchus in the bliss of winter..."

"Some special guests will also appear this time, but all will be revealed when the time is right."

New Blood Ceremony MP3 For Download

Rise Above Records recording artist Blood Ceremony has posted an MP3 of "Children of the Future" for download or streaming now.

Born out of an obsession with ‘70s occult rock, Canada’s Blood Ceremony bears witness to the heavy bands of yesteryear, fusing psychedelic rock and folk with an early ‘70s downer feel on their self-titled debut Blood Ceremony (also out September 30 on Rise Above).

Blood Ceremony strives to achieve a distinctive presence through their music; the desired effect is “the creation of an utterly heavy and doomed-out vibe.” Songs built upon the foundations of medieval heavy blues-rock riffs are characterized by psychedelic ‘60s-style organ work, as well as mystical fluting (a la the manic piping of Jethro Tull), the end result a profound sense of musical other-worldliness with brooding melodies that could readily appeal to fans of Black Sabbath and Black Mountain alike.

Am I Blood Issues Update On Production Of Album

Am I Blood frontman Janne Kerminen has issued the following update on the band's progress with the new material:

"So, things have started to move on quickly once they got started, at last! This week I spent some time with my good friend Aki Räty in the forest cabin and we were doing some production work for a new album. Intermissions we spent kicking shit out of Bigfoot. It was very productive session and great moment to reset all the meters after the drum session with our new brilliant drummer Mickey T. I'm more than pleased and grateful to have him on board. But as Mickey said, that's another story and we'll let you know about line up change later.

"We will close our website until new site is ready, but you'll find us here in myspace and all the info about every situation what's happening in AIB camp."

Fashion Bomb Talks About Signing To Full Effect

Chicago-based, Industrial Metallers FASHION BOMB, recently sat down with Live-Metal.Net's Jason Price to discuss Fashion Bomb's history, their recent signing to Full Effect Records, their powerful live performances, working with Fear Factory's Raymond Herrera on their next album and what is in store for the band in the coming months.

On Fashion Bomb's Signing To Full Effect Records:

Live-Metal.Net: Fashion Bomb has recently signed with Full Effect Records and will be re-releasing Devils to Some, Angels to Others, in September of 2008. How has you experience with the label been so far?

Val (vocals, programming): Outstanding! They are a like-minded label. In the past, we have worked with some other labels including really large labels. We are really happy to be with Full Effect because the label really has a mindset that harkens back to the old days of Wax Trax and being a Chicago band that is something that is deeply ingrained as a part of our history. Wax Trax was really artists running labels to help other artists and building a community of mutual assistance and support. Really when you are going into a meeting with the label, you know that they are artists and not just some guy in a suit who just has a balance sheet out. While certainly that is a big part of this business these days, when you are primarily looking at it as art rather than business, you are ultimately going to have more success as an artist and make more of a connection with your audience. So that is why we are really pleased with the label right now. It doesn't hurt that they have major distribution and a good business plan as well! [laughs]

On Touring and Their Upcoming Work With Fear Factory's Raymond Herrera:

Live-Metal.Net: Are you currently working on a followup to "Angels To Some, Devils To Others?"

Acid (guitar): Definitely! We are spending the bulk of our time right now, while everything is gearing up for the re-release, working on that. We have been holed up in the studio just writing and writing and writing and banging out some new stuff.

Live-Metal.Net: When can we look forward to hearing some touring plans from you? Is that in the cards right now?

Val: It is. The focus is going to be on the new album. We are going to be heading out to Los Angeles in the next couple months and we will be delivering a new album to our label by the end of the year. We are going to be working with Raymond Herrera of Fear Factory out there to produce the new album. We are definitely going to be out there working hard on that. That is pretty much going to be our short term goal but after the new year we will definitely be touring around to a city near you. The tour should be fairly extensive.

Fashion Bomb recently signed a deal with Full Effect Records and will have their debut album "Devils to Some, Angels to Others" re-released in September 2008. The re-release will feature a bonus remix of "Low" by Asrock of Final Cut in September. Based in Detroit and Los Angeles, Full Effect features such bands as Faster Pussycat and Final Cut, and has worldwide distribution through Sony/Red and Code7.

He will be busy though working with his other band (STOLEN BABIES) a lot over the next year so I am talking to other dudes both for DILLINGER possibilities and just for me to play with on other creative projects. We still may be touring and writing with Gil though. Kinda in the air. No big drama though or anything.”
