Cyhra To Release New Album In August
Swedish melodic metal rockers Cyhra return with explosive news - the band are proud to announce their new studio album titled "The Vertigo Trigger," which will be released on August 18th via Nuclear Blast Records. Founded by vocalist Jake E (ex-Amaranthe) and guitarist Jesper Strömblad (ex-In Flames), with the addition of lead guitarist Euge Valovirta (ex-Shining) and drummer Alex Landenburg (Kamelot), Cyhra have already released two highly acclaimed albums, proving that they've forged their own identity and sound.
Now in 2023, coming four years after their last album "No Halos In Hell," "The Vertigo Trigger" is Cyhra's third studio album, and their first featuring recently added guitarist Marcus Sunesson (ex-The Crown/Engel). The band released the album’s first single "Ready To Rumble" last autumn, and fans will now undoubtedly be pleased to learn that the track is a part of the new full-length record. Along with the album announcement, the Swedes also deliver new single "Life Is A Hurricane" today, accompanied by a new music video.
Vocalist Jake E comments:
"A song that grabs you from the first second and holds on until the last beat. And a fantastic video by mastermind Patric Ullaeus of Revolver Film!"
Drummer Alex Landenburg adds:
"Life Is A Hurricane was one of the first songs we wrote for the new album. It’s one of these songs where the vocal melody and the rhythm are tightly connected and really complement each other. It’s probably also our best video so far."
Guitarist Euge Valovirta echoes the sentiment:
"A hurricane of a song it is! It starts with a heavy riff and a guitar solo so what’s a better way to start a song than that? Hope you all enjoy it! Oh and the video is pretty damn intense too!" More...
Eleine Launches New Visualizer Video
We are just over a month away from the release of Eleine's fourth studio album »We Shall Remain« which will be out on July 14, 2023 via Atomic Fire Records. Today, the Swedish symphonic dark metal four-piece have unleashed another new digital single, "Stand By The Flame," reminding us that there are moments in life where one realises that "enough is enough."
"It is time to stand by the flame that has been ignited, clearly showing the pain you've been through. No longer is it 'them' who push you down, it is 'us' who push back. Stand by the flame and we'll stand victorious.
"'Stand By The Flame' is the second to last single from our upcoming album. It's a strong hymn with groovy drums and riffs. And a catchy chorus that we can't wait to hear our fans sing along to on all the upcoming shows, feeling strong and empowered!" comment Madeleine and Rikard. More...

Shade Empire Releases New Music Video
Finnish symphonic extreme metallers Shade Empire have released a captivating single/video for the title track of their sixth studio album, "Sunholy." The track represents a heavier and more symphonic moment on the album, exemplified by breathtaking scenery and landscapes throughout the video.
New album "Sunholy" is set for release on 15th September via Candlelight Records.
The band comments: "We wanted to do things differently than before on the 'Sunholy' video as the music demanded epic landscapes. We ran into an extremely talented film maker Oliver König whose previous works and beautiful sceneries caught our attention. So we went to shoot the video in the Austrian Alps and ended up on one of the highest peaks in Austria (2500m). We couldn't be more happy with the result!" More...
