New Tiamat Video
The video clip for “Vote For Love,” the first single off Tiamat's latest studio release, entitled Judas Christ, can be viewed in its entirety in streaming video at these locations: High-speed or low-speed.
Dragonland's Holy War
Sweden's Dragonland, featuring former Prophanity/NIghtshade guitarist Nicklas Magnusson and King Diamond touring keyboardist Elias Holmlid, will be entering Gothenburg's Studio Fredman with producer Anders Friden on March 14th to begin recording their second full-length CD, entitled Holy War, for a late summer release through Black Lotus Records. Scheduled to be mixed by veteran studio wizard Fredrik Nordstrom.
Lost Horizon Working on New Material
Sweden's reigning kings of power metal Lost Horizon are presently working on their as-yet-untitled follow-up to last year's amazing Awakening the World.
"Lost Horizon is currently writing material for a second album," said guitarist and songwriter Wojtek Lisicki to DigitalMetal. "The music will have the same windy true metal feel like the debut, with immense passion and melody. It will take the characteristic Lost Horizon sound even further."
"We are going toward more theatrical mode though," Lisicki continued to explain. "And there will definitely be much more "free space" on the next album, which will let the listener take a breath sometimes during the listening. Generally the album will be a bit slower, bearing the fact in mind that the first album is a pure hurricane!"

Apocalyptica frets NASCAR
Finland’s Apocalyptica have recently struck a deal with Fox Sports Net in the United States for usage of the band’s rendition of "Hall Of The Mountain King" for upcoming NASCAR promotional television spots. The spots will be running from February 17th through July 6th of this year.
This recent deal follows on the heels of some other interesting recent licenses of "Hall Of The Mountain King." The track is also currently being utilized for National Basketball Association promo spots on Turner Network Television and in commercials for the California Milk Processor Board (currently being aired locally throughout the state).

Dry Kill Logic Work on Second
Dry Kill Logic have just started work on their second album for Roadrunner. The band are currently in pre-production, but hope to have the as yet untitled record in the shops before the end of the year. Among the songs they’re working on are ‘This You Never Want’, ‘Still Bleeding’, ‘Death Of The Day’ and ‘Neither Here Nor Mist’.
Danzig 7
Danzig will release their seventh album, ‘Danzig 7: I Luciferi,’ featuring 14 tracks, through Spitfire in April.
