Exodus' Paul Baloff Dies of Stroke
The metal world was shocked over the weekend as Exodus frontman Paul Baloff, 41, suffered a massive stroke and passed away shortly after. Exodus was major part of the 80s thrash metal explosion, encouraging the infamous "mosh pit mentality" with their anthem "The Toxic Waltz" and a string of classic albums.
Serebus Sign To Crash
Denver, Colorado's Serberus, self-described as "aggressive melodic death metal," have signed a worldwide deal with Crash Music.

Full Devil Jacket frontman Josh Brown has left the band, due to his ‘religious beliefs’. Brown is a devout Christian who apparently was only prepared to carry on with the band if they accepted his religious attitude. However, the band will continue albeit under a new name, and they’re already working with an as yet unnamed new singer.
Napalm Death Bassist Ill
Napalm Death bassist Shane Embury has been taken to hospital in Germany, suffering from a severe flu virus. The band, however, plan to carry on for the moment without him, as a four-piece.
