Linkin Park Remixed
The remixed version of Linkin Park’s mega selling ‘Hybrid Theory’ album is now expected to be released in the summer of 2002. Fans can expect to hear remixes done by the likes of Marilyn Manson, Alchemist, Jay Gordon of Orgy, Evidence of Dilated Peoples and the Humble Brothers.

Slash NOT in Supergroup
Despite an official announcement by others confirming his presence in a new supergroup, Slash has now issued a statement denying that he’s involved with Sammy Hagar, Neal Schon, Michael Anthony and Deen Castronova. The as yet unnamed band have been working on two songs - one of which might make an appearance on the soundtrack from the 'Spiderman' movie - but NOT with the former GNR star.
Amen To Medication!
Following drummer Roy Mayorga’s decision to commit himself full time to Soulfly, Medication have drafted in Amen’s Shannon Larkin to help out in the studio on their debut album, which is being produced by Bill Kennedy. But this purely a temporary arrangement.
Striking Distance Join Bridge Nine Records
Striking Distance has now joined the Bridge Nine Records roster. The band will soon be recording for a 7"/MCD for Bridge Nine, which should be available in late-Spring or early-Summer. There are also plans to record a new full-length for Bridge 9 as well, which is expected to surface next Winter. The band also appears on the new PastePunk.com compilation which is definitely worth buying (with over 20 tracks from bands such as Darkest Hour, Thursday, and Skycamefalling). Roadrunner Signs Dirty Americans
Dirty Americans, featuring three former members of The Workhorse Movement, have signed to Roadrunner Records. The Detroit band will shortly start work on their first album, and have just recruited new member Jeremiah Pilbeam.
Ministry's Two-Way Animosity
With the live album ‘Sphinctour’ still a couple from release, Ministry are already planning a new studio record. It will be called ‘Animositisomina’, which is ‘animosity’ forwards and backwards without the ‘y’.
