Lickgoldensky Touring and Recording
Philadelphia's Lickgoldensky (ex-Turmoil) have signed with Escape Artist Records. Lickgoldensky are on tour now and will stop at Oakland's Sharkbite Studios where Billy Anderson (Neurosis, High On Fire, Sleep, Melvins, Sick of It All, etc) will record their Escape Artist debut full-length 'The Beautiful Sounds Of....'

Escape Artist In Pieces
Melodic metal band, In Pieces, have signed to Escape Artist Records. The band recently finished recording their Escape Artist debut at God City Studios with producer Kurt Ballou. The record will surface in the late winter but in the meantime you can preview the song "A Fitting Lie" at MP3.com.
Isis Writing and Playing New Material
Isis have stepped up the writing process for their next record and recently performed several new songs at their recent Boston and Philadelphia shows. Early reports suggest a possible April/May timeframe for the recording of the bands next record.

Exodus' Paul Boloff Tribute
The members of Exodus are to play tribute to their late singer Paul Baloff by holding a special night in his honour at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco on February 12. Fans will be asked to make a donation of at least $5 at the door, which will go to the Wolf Recovery Foundation, which protects wolves. For full details, go to www.paulbaloff.com.
Thirtysecond What?
Thirtysecondstomars will support Puddle Of Mudd on the latter’s upcoming US tour, which kicks off in Austin, Texas on March 12. The trek lasts until early April. The ‘Thirtysecondstomars’ album will be released in the late spring by Immortal/Virgin.
