Godhead Signs With Reality/Sony
Godhead have signed a new deal with Reality/Sony. The band are currently working on a new, as yet untitled album with producer Warren Croyle. Expect a Spring release.
Queens, Audioslave, Incubus For Lollapalooza
Queens Of The Stone Age, Audioslave, Jane’s Addiction and Incubus are among the bands apparently being lined up for the return of the US Lollapalooza touring festival this Summer. Details are expected to be confirmed soon.
Ballistic Over Metal Blade
US metal band Ballistic have just signed to Metal Blade Records. The band includes vocalist/guitarist Tom Gattis, guitarist Chris Broderick (also a member of Jag Panzer), drummer Rikard Sjjernquist (again also with Jag Panzer) and bassist Tim O’Connor. They are to work with producer Johnny Herrera on their debut album.

Chimaira Recording in Lincolnshire
Chimaira's Mark (vocals), Jim (bass), and Rob (guitar) are in the town of Lincolnshire in London recording their upcoming 'The Impossibility Of Reason' release with Colin Richardson (the same man who mixed the Machine Head 'Hellalive' CD).
Cradle of Filth Download And News
Cradle Of Filth have made one track from upcoming album ‘Damnation & A Day’ available for download at http://www.cradleoffilth.com/downloadone. The song in question, ‘Presents From The Poison-Hearted’, will remain posted up throughout February. ‘Damnation…’ is released on March 10, preceded by the single ‘Babalon A.D. (So Glad For The Madness)’ on March 3. This is to be made available in DVD form.
Cut-Out of Mudd
Jimmy Allen, the guitarist who co-wrote several songs on the debut Puddle Of Mudd album ‘Come Clean’, has released his first record since leaving the band. It’s an EP from his new band Cut-Out.
Black Sabbath To Headline Ozzfest
As the Summer touring programme starts to take shape, it seems Black Sabbath are once again to reunite in their original line-up to headline Ozzfest 2003. Korn, Marilyn Manson and Disturbed are also being linked with places on the bill. More news on this is expected soon.
Incubus Sue Epic
Incubus have filed a lawsuit against Epic Records, in an attempt to get away from the label. The band want their contract, for which they owe Epic four albums, annulled.
