Vulture Releases New Single
One year after the release of their latest, highly acclaimed album "Dealin' Death" Vulture returns with a brand new, exclusive digital single. Devin Townsend To Release New Album In October
Devin Townsend's new studio album, "Lightwork," will be release on October 28 via InsideOut Music. The album was produced by Devin and Gggarth Richardson (Biffy Clyro, Rage Against The Machine). The front cover artwork was designed by long-time friend and designer, Travis Smith.
The album will be accompanied by a companion record called "Nightwork," available as part of the limited edition versions of the release. More details on the formats will follow in the coming months, along with pre-order details.
Devin has also announced the addition of no less than seven UK shows as part of the rescheduled European Lightwork Tour 2023. The UK shows will go on sale Friday, June 24 at 10 AM, local time. Machine Head Unveils "Unhalløwed" Music Video
Bay Area metal titans, Machine Head, will release their tenth album, the immense and unapologetic "Øf Kingdøm And Crøwn," on August 26 via Nuclear Blast x Imperium Recordings. Today, the band release the mammoth new track, "Unhalløwed," along with an accompanying video shot live from the band's Electric Happy Hour series. You can watch the live video below.
Speaking about the new track, Machine Head founder, Robb Flynn shares: "Drowning in the deepest depression of his life, Eros is at a breaking point. Collecting heartaches, loss, and near psychotic isolation, 'Unhalløwed' is the beginning of a powerful shift of our story. An introspective narrative starts the song lyrically, which is a collaborative effort written by myself, guitarist Waclaw 'Vogg' Kieltyka, and bassist/backing vocalist Jared MacEachern and encapsulates the collective strength of this writing team.
"Anchored by an absolutely monstrous groove, the vocals melodically mirror the state of mind of Eros as he reels from the loss of his mother to a drug overdose and begins a slow downward spiral into madness. Satan Announces European Tour Dates
NWOBHM heroes, Satan, who released their sixth full length album "Earth Infernal" via Metal Blade in April this year, have announced a 9-date trek through Germany and the Benelux in October. Support comes from Swedish Heavy Metal villains Portrait, who released their critically acclaimed new album "At One With None" last September via Metal Blade.

Serpent Spawn: Pre-Release Full-Album Streaming
German death metal band Serpent Spawn (Blood, Malaphar, ex-Dawn) premiere the pre-release full-album stream of the band's upcoming EP "Crypt of Torment", which will be out in stores June 24th 2022 via Iron Bonehead.
