Sirenia Shares "Nightside Den" Video
"Nightside Den" is the title of Sirenia’s brand new song, the first single from the upcoming album "Amanita Messis." The song was released one week ago and today (October 17th) the videoclip premieres on Sirenia's official youtube channel at 18:00 hours CET. "Nightside Den" is in many ways a typical Sirenia song, it has a lot of those typical elements that the band loves to include in their songs. It’s a melodic and groovy mid-tempo song with a very catchy chorus and a nice Symphonic touch. The videoclip was shot in Marseille, France - the hometown of lead singer Emma Zoldan. Bloodorn To Release Debut Album In May
Bloodorn, the new power metal band led by Sirenia's lead guitarist Nils Courbaron, today announces the release of their debut album via Reaper Entertainment. "Let The Fury Rise" will be released on May 24, 2024. The first foretaste in the form of the single "Under The Secret Sign" will be released on February 2nd.
The band is also unveiling the cover artwork for the upcoming album today. It was created by the well-known French artist "Rusalkadsegin."

Sirenia Shares "Wintry Heart" Performance Video
International symphonic metal force Sirenia reveals their third and final new single, entitled "Wintry Heart!" Ranking at the top of their genre for more than 20 years, the band will release their eleventh studio album, "1977," on May 26, 2023 via Napalm Records. Led by mastermind Morten Veland, Sirenia gathered worldwide press coverage with their previous releases and toured throughout Europe, Latin America, North America, Asia and Australia.
Fast-paced new single "Wintry Heart" gives a bittersweet taste of early 90’s vibes, roaring guitars and synth melodies, exploring a new style like never before. The single comes with an exciting performance music video.

Sirenia To Release New Album "1977" In May
Exploring a new style like never before – symphonic metal icons Sirenia revolutionize their melodic darkness on the brand new studio album, "1977," set to be released on May 26, 2023 via Napalm Records. Transporting the listener to a retro auditory arcade harking back to when groovy synthwave melodies dominated the world of music, the international band merges late 70’s and 80’s pop rock stylings with synthwave elements and their remarkable, hard-hitting symphonic melodies - shaking the listener to the core.
Showing off their multifaceted nature at its best, the first single cut from "1977" comes as an absolute time machine in form of the record's bonus track, "Twist In My Sobriety." The cover of the million-times-over streamed track by German born British singer Tanita Tikaram matches the surprisingly deep voice that presents vocalist Emmanuelle Zoldan in a very new range, while the eerie mid-tempo appears in a brand new light of modern synth beats and characteristic synth-oboe. Transporting their fans right into smokey, neon lit nightclubs, the eclectic mix of "1977" opens up exciting new facets of symphonic, electronic and groove elements in Sirenia’s music.

70000 Tons Of Metal 2023: Day One
In the modern metal world full of festivals, it seems that cruises are becoming more and more common. Whether it be Chris Jericho's Rock 'N' Wrestling Rager At Sea, the Kiss Kruise or the Mediterranea Metal Cruise, heavy metal on the open sea is becoming more and more common. However, to understand how this became a thing, you need look no further than 70000 Tons Of Metal, which as it proudly boasts, is the world's original metal cruise.
First setting sail in 2011, the floating festival quickly grew in size, popularity and prestige to become the institution it is today. After a few years away thanks to the worldwide bastard that was the COVID-19 pandemic, the cruise returned last week for its eleventh voyage. Boasting some of metal's most popular names, cult favourites and up and comers, 70000 Tons was back with a vengeance.
To get festivities underway, sailors had a choice between British death metal veterans Cancer or German heavy metal stalwarts Iron Savior. Fortunately, with every band scheduled to play twice, it's only a matter of scheduling and not worrying about missing out that helps form decisions. So it was decided that the best way to get the ball rolling was Iron Savior, given their more upbeat sound. They proved to be the perfect choice, as their sonic bridge between heavy and power metal matched the excitement felt on board. Of course, with nearly thirty years of music under their belts, not all albums could be represented in forty five minutes, but the carefully chosen setlist including three songs from "Kill Or Get Killed." The chemistry between frontman Piet Sielck and bassist Jan-Sören Eckert also added to the fun of a memorable set which concluded with "Break The Curse" from 2004's, "Battering Ram." Dutch death metal band Bodyfarm has been announced by the organisers of 70000 Tons Of Metal has the latest name for this year's edition of the festival, which will set sail in just over a week on January 30th and last until February 3rd. Austrian blackened death metal stalwarts Belphegor has been announced as the latest addition for this year's edition of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise. The floating festival, which will take place aboard the Freedom Of The Seas, will sail out from Miami, Florida on January 30th and return to port on February 3rd.

Three More Bands Confirmed For 70000 Tons 2023
The organisers of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise have confirmed a further three names for the 2023 edition of the event, which will launch in just over two weeks on January 30th from Miami, Florida, before returning on February 3rd. Now added to the lineup are Dutch outfit Dear Mother, Canadian progressive metal band Osyron and Colombian melodic death metal group Eshtadur.

German death metal veterans Atrocity are the latest band to be confirmed for the upcoming 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise, which is scheduled to set sail on January 30th and head to Bimini, The Bahamas, before returning to Miami on February 3rd.

The organisers of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise have now confirmed two more bands for this year's edition of the floating festival, which will set sail at the end of the month (January 30th) and return of February 3rd. Cancer And Wolfchant Confirmed For 70000 Tons 2023
The announcements for the 2023 edition of 70000 Tons Of Metal are coming thick and fast with the organisers of the cruise confirming two more names for the voyage today. British death metal legends Cancer will be boarding the ship, as will German Viking metal band Wolfchant. Speaking on the announcement, Cancer said:
"We are beyond stoked to announce that we will be spreading this fatal disease called death fucking metal at the one and only 70000tons, the world's biggest heavy metal cruise in just a few weeks!
"We've definitely never played in a setting like this one, so you can imagine the four of us are quite excited about it! A good bunch of friends and bands that we love have been already announced and we'll all make a total of 60 artists playing two sets each when the whole line-up gets revealed!
