Chicago's Usurper have parted ways with Necropolis Records after five years and four releases. According to a press release issued by the band, the relationship with the Fremont, California based label disintegrated after Usurper returned from their recent European tour.

Milwaukee Metalfest Pre-Show Benefit

Those planning to attend the Milwaukee Metalfest might want to go a day early, as a pre-fest showcase featuring such bands as Morta Skuld, Meat Rocket, Chaos Theory, Mimic, and Psychotogen will be held on August 8 at the Globe East as a benefit for cancer-stricken Chuck Schuldiner.
