Black Sabbath's Live in '75 To Be Released in Oct.

Two CD's of rare and never-before-heard Black Sabbath material is due for release October 9 on Divine Recordings. Recorded at various shows during their 1975 'Sabotage' tour the album is endorsed and will have liner notes written by the four original members of Sabbath.

Family Values Turmoil arises; Date Slips

• One tentative date has slipped out for this years Family Values Tour, which is set to feature the Stone Temple Pilots, Staind, Linkin Park, Static-X, Deadsy and theSTART. It is as follows:
  October 02nd Sunrise, FL - National Car Rental Center

• In other news, recent rumors indicate that there have been some internal disagreements as to who will secure the rights to the impending Family Values live album, which will feature live performances captured on this years trek. The turmoil has no doubt arisen as a result of the breakout success of Staind's track "Outside", which was originally featured on the "Family Values '99" album. At worst, the disputes could possibly jeopardize the lineup of the trek, though it is expected that the situation will be resolved shortly.

Slipknot line up David Meyers for video

Slipknot have lined up director David Meyers (Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock) to helm the video for their upcoming new single, "Left Behind". The shoot will take place in Los Angeles, CA on August 01st-02nd and the finished product should begin airing in mid to late August. The song is the first single off of the groups forthcoming new album "IOWA", due out through Roadrunner/Island/Def Jam on August 28th.

Chino guests on Methods of Mayhem song

Deftones frontman Chino Moreno recently tracked vocals for a song set to show up on the forthcoming new Methods Of Mayhem album. His contributions were recorded last week, at the home studio of Methods Of Mayhem mastermind, Tommy Lee. The effort is expected to surface in September/October through MCA.
