Bloodjinn have recently added former He Is Legend guitarist McKenzie Bell to their lineup. McKenzie replaces departing guitarist Hunter McBride. The band have issued this statement:

"McKenzie Bell sucks!! We are only using him for his shredabilities & beard length. If you talk to him, tell him he sucks and we are using him. HAHAHA, had ya for a minute didn't we? Actually, we absolutely love that guy! He's always been one of our best friends from across the great state of North Carolina plus, he's an awesome guitarist. Expect to see him in the Bloodjinn lineup starting 2007. You should really watch our new studio journal video. We're the smartest band alive!"

Bruce Dickinson Banned From His Son's Gigs

Rocker Bruce Dickinson has been banned from watching his 16-year-old son's gigs, because he gets put off when he sees his dad in the audience.

The Iron Maiden frontman has agreed to his son Austin's request, but only because he remembers the embarrassment he felt when his own father used to come and watch him play as a young man.

Dickinson says, "He (Austin) said to me, 'I know you want to come but when you do, I panic.' I understand. I don't want to be a stage dad.

"I remember my dad coming to one of my first gigs and marching to the front in his suit and putting his elbows on the stage. Embarrassing."

Interview With Crowned By Fire's John The Impaler

Los Angeles, California's newest heavy music sensation CROWNED BY FIRE comes in the form of a group of crazy as bobcats in levis and flannels, beer pounding til dawn rock n roll animals, who, oh - just happen to be led by Zakk Wylde's ex-guitar tech, Justin 'Slush' Manning on lead guitar. We all know what a character Slush is from my previous interview with him. Well, I think we have him beat now with the band's singer, affectionately known as John The Impaler. This dude is about as rocker as they come without it becoming too obscene. Actually, scratch the last statement. This interview does get obscene. I tracked him down for this Q&A somewhere inbetween sheer drunken stupidity and a blackout from too many shots of the black tooth. Getcha pull! More...
