Primal Fear Announces New Album "Domination"

Spanning more than 25 years of pure heavy and power metal, Primal Fear have face numerous challenges since their formation in 1997. Despite these obstacles, the band have repeatedly risen from their lowest points, like a phoenix from the ashes. After a recent line-up change, which saw Thalìa Bellezecca join on guitar and André Hilgers on drums, the group are now in the final stages of completing their upcoming 15th studio album, "Domination," which is currently being recorded. "We've entered the studio and we can choose from a pool of about 25 songs! We're absolutely happy!" smiles founding member Mat Sinner (bass, vocals).

Produced by Sinner and co-produced by Ralf Scheepers & Magnus Karlsson, the new offering will be mixed and mastered by the group's confident partner Jacob Hansen at his Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark by the end of this year.

Long-time guitarist Magnus Karlsson, who has recently returned to the Primal Fear live touring crew, is once again a vital part of the creative process as well. He adds: "I can't wait to hit the stage with Primal Fear again! It's going to be an incredible ride! We're going to create something truly special together, both live and in the studio, and I'm so grateful to share this journey with all you metalheads! Metal is forever!" More...

Cabal Releases New Standalone Single

Having recently returned from their 4th US tour and after a summer of collaborations across both electronic/industrial (Reworks EP) and rap (Sort Sommer) Cabal are back with their unique blend of industrial tinged deathcore to prove they are 'Still Cursed'. The single features vocalist Aaron Matts of Ten56. and is released to coincide with Cabal's appearance on the Nordic Invasion tour with Aviana amongst others this September.

Singer Andreas Bjulver comments: "We are beyond excited to share our new single 'Still Cursed' with you all. Anyone who's ever dealt with clinical depression knows that it's a constant battle that isn't just won once, but has to be battled continuously, in many cases daily and can make you feel like you're always going one step forward and two steps back. 'Still Cursed' is for everyone who's ever felt that pain and knows how it feels to being close to giving up. The track is also a glimpse into a new sonic direction for the band and features our very good friend Aaron Matts from the French metalcore heavyweights Ten56."

My Sleeping Karma Introduces New Drummer

German instrumental outfit My Sleeping Karma has announced that they have decided to continue as a band, following the passing of drummer Steffen Weigand in June of last year. A statement from the band reads as follows:

"Dear brothers and sisters,

"They say time is a healer, but some wounds never seem to heal at all. After the tragic loss of our musical soulmate Steffen, we felt desperate and had absolutely no clue how to deal with the situation and how to go along with My Sleeping Karma as a band.

"We are still so grateful for the fund raise that so many of you supported and for the enormous amount of requests to keep our music and Steffen's spirit alive. After long and intense discussions, we finally came to the conclusion that it is our duty to proceed with My Sleeping Karma.

"To proceed for you, the people, to proceed for Steffen. Today it is our pleasure to introduce to you our new drummer André.

"He has been a member of the MSK-Family for such a long time and was our light and video engineer in the past. André is switching positions now and we are in serious rehearsals before hitting the stage again. Some personal words from André will follow in the next days.

"Much Love,
the Karma guys

"P.s. There have been rumours about a first concert at our hometown club Colos-Saal in Aschaffenburg on Dec 30th. That's correct and tickets will be on sale soon.
