Victory Posts New Lyric Video Online
This week, iconic hard rock band Victory celebrates the release of their brand new, critically-acclaimed studio offering "Circle Of Life," that is out now on AFM Records. Naturally, the excellent reputation of a successful hard rock act such as Victory is based – among other things – on the superb achievements of their long-standing career. The early days of the Hanover-based group date back to the 1980s and include immortal album classics and successful tours around the globe. However, none of this would account for much or would indeed be classed as anything but nostalgia if their present accomplishments weren’t on a par with the band’s impressive past.
To mark the release, the band has premiered a new lyric video for the song, "Tonight We Rock," which you can find below. More...
Firewind Releases "Talking In Your Sleep" Video
Following the release of their much-acclaimed studio output Stand United (released in March 2024 via AFM Records,) lauded by both fans and music press alike, hard rock and power metal titans Firewind have just kicked off their European tour alongside Sonata Arctica, Serious Black and Tungsten! In December, they will be also joining forces again with label mates Masterplan.
Now, in time for the tour's start, the band with iconic guitarist Gus G is premiering a brand new music video for the song "Talking in Your Sleep", a cover version of the 80s pop rock classic originally recorded by The Romantics.
Gus comments: "During the recording sessions of the “Stand United” album we all wanted to record a cover song as it had been a while since we’d done that. We all love the classic gem “Talking in Your Sleep” by the Romantics and agreed unanimously to go for it. We gave it the Firewind treatment of course and it sounds bit heavier now!
"To celebrate the current European tour we just kicked off, we decided to drop a new video for this track featuring road footage from the first leg of our world tour, taken from our US and Japanese shows earlier this year. We hope you enjoy and hopefully you’ll catch us on tour, on what will be the last dates in support of this album cycle!" More...
Satan Debuts New Track
British heavy metal veterans Satan has uploaded a new song to YouTube entitled, "Era (The Day Will Come.)" You can check it out below. The song comes from the band's new album, "Songs In Crimson," which was released yesterday through Metal Blade Records.
If 2022’s Earth Infernal album was brutal, up-tempo and with loud guitars, guitarist Russ Tippins calls Songs In Crimson "concise. It’s more to-the-point and gets there quicker. One of the reasons behind the album title is that this record is very ‘song’ focused. There’s more punch this time around. Each chorus speaks for itself." More...
