Interview With John DiBattista Of Fall To Grace
Los Angeles, California's FALL TO GRACE have been been ripping it up throughout many top rock venues as of late and are getting ready to record their debut full-length album. This is a band that seems to have a real strong grasp on the best elements of metal music and also straight ahead Rock, because I hear all of it in their music. They have a real fret burner also doubling as the band's lead vocalist in John DiBattista. I got some Q&A in with him to learn more about this exciting unsigned heavy music act. More...
Kreator Interviewed By Pyromusic.net
PyroMusic.net conducted an interview with Kreator's founding member, Vocalist/Guitaris Mille 2 days ago ahead of their Australian tour. Topics discussed include the next album, a new dvd release, Mille's thoughts on the metal scene presently, the loss of fans in the 1990s during their "experimental" years, Ventor's vocal contributions to Kreator live and in studio and the future of the band.
Bitter Tongues Finish Writing For New EP
Bitter Tongues has finished writing material for a new EP. Production for the release will begin later this month at Orphic Studios with Josh Wardrip (Man Is Mostly Water). According to the band, "the songs are a departure from our recent material." No release date has been announced. Meanwhile, the band continues to finalize material for their upcoming split with Holyfuckingcrap!, due out in early-2007.
Isis Set To Release DVD
Isis will release their debut DVD, titled "Clearing The Eye," on September 26th through Ipecac Recordings.
The DVD features live performances from Isis shows at New York's CBGB's and The Troubadour in Hollywood. Also included in "Clearing The Eye" is a music video for "In Fiction," interactive photo galleries, a discography, and a "graphically rich" twenty-page booklet.

Cradle of Filth Begin Mixing New Album
British extreme metallers CRADLE OF FILTH have begun mixing their new album, "Thornography", at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, England with producer Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, SKINLAB, NEVERMORE). And what would a CRADLE OF FILTHrecord be without a visit from one Doug Bradley — a.k.a. "Hellraiser"'s chief Cenobite, Pinhead? Having already put his narrative stamp on such older CRADLE OF FILTH classics as "Her Ghost in the Fog" and "Swansong for a Raven".
"Thornography" is scheduled for release on September 19 via Roadrunner Records. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Libertina Grim", "Tonight in Flames", "Cemetery and Sundown", "I Am the Thorn", "The Byronic Man" (featuring guest vocals from H.I.M.'s Ville Valo) and "Temptation".
Matt Heafy of Trivium Checks in From SOTU
TRIVIUM's Matt Heafy has checked in from the road as the band travels across the US as part of the SOUNDS OF THE UNDERGROUND. Heafy speaks about TRIVIUM's tourmates, the future, the band's forthcoming first ever headlining tour, and more:

Godhead, Ill Nino And Ra To Team Up For Tour
GODHEAD, ILL NINO, and RA will be teaming up on a East Coast/Midwest tour starting late August through September.
Usurper To Enter Studio In Early 2007
Chicago's USURPER is currently preparing songs for their sixth full-length album, which they plan to record in early 2007 for a summer release through Earache Records. The album is currently untitled but some new songtitles include "Talons of Steel", "Planet of the Humans" and "Rebel Wolf".
In other news, USURPER has posted photos of its recent live appearances in Oslo, Norway and Tijuana, Mexico. Check them out at this location.
USURPER's next live appearance will take place at this year's Minneapolis Mayhem 3 festival on August 25-26 at the Star Central in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
USURPER's fifth full-length album, "Cryptobeast", was released last year via Earache Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Twilight Dominion" was recorded at Chicago's Rax Trax Studios with producer Neil Kernon (JUDAS PRIEST, DEICIDE, CANNIBAL CORPSE).
Vader Post New Song Online
Candlelight Records has premiered 'ShadowsFear' from VADER's forthcoming album, Impressions In Blood, at their official MySpace page here. The album, recorded at Hertz Studios with the production team of Wojtek and Slawek Wieslawscy, is due out via Regain Records on September 4th. As previously report, the band are shooting a promotional videoclip for the track 'Helleluyah!!! (God Is Dead)'. Impressions In Blood will feature the following tracks: 'Between Day and Night', 'ShadowsFear', 'As Heavens Collide...', 'Helleluyah!!! (God Is Dead)', 'Field Of Heads', 'Predator', 'Warlords', 'Red Code', 'Amongst The Ruins', 'They Live!!!'.
