Man I love lamb of god's work but when I heard redneck I truly got worried ,I smell sell out.Riches will nearly always poison the hardcore. It Alter's one's animalistic core and makes them ,,well just compare redneck to their older stuff.
I hope the album rocks ,But I am concerned with LOG's future. Will they always have that insane don't give a crap very talented rawness.Or is The song Redneck a glimpse of their demise.
WHo feels this way?
I know I am not alone.
When you have the sucsess and money that they are now attaining it will take it's toll ,It happens to everyone.
It may be better for some or hurt others. For them to me, the hatred and angry rawness in thier music was a big fuel which made them *click* with everyone and sucsess will put that raging fire out like an Avalanche on a camp fire.
I really hope this is not the case with them.
Comments on this please.
Think about what I just said all.

why is it that when a band puts out something different or a little out of their norm, everyone's first reaction is "i hope their not selling out?" i personally didnt like redneck, but i still like LOG. at least their trying to expand their music and not stay in the same rut in their careers (though that wouldnt bother me much). cant wait for this album.

no crap buddy ,Yea they could be taking another turn like you they say with their music or this could be the start of the finish, BOTH are possibilities.Understand that!
DOnt think it's just different because they are trying something new here.It could just be very well that they are taking a turn for the worst and this is coming from a true LOG fan who hopes this does not happen. So I am not bashing them,I am just understanding the way's of life.ANd like I said''Sucsess will often put that raging fire out like an Avalanche on a camp fire.''
Open your mind Terminator and the rest of you. This could be possible.I personally hope not!

yes it is true, every new release of every band could ultimately be their last or be the first stones lining a large path to ruin. but success does not always equate to long term failure (i.e. iron maiden, slayer).
realtruth--if you'll notice, my statement wasnt about this being the possible end of LOG, though i see that is your underlying point. it was about everyones quick trigger on the term "sell out". and trying something new IS different, even if it is taking a turn for the worst. LOG is still metal and are in no way selling out. and i predict that this new album will be one of their highest selling.
