Terrorizer Reveals New Album Details

American grindcore icons Terrorizer, featuring legendary drummer Pete Sandoval, have united with The End Records for the release of their long-anticipated new full-length, "Caustic Attack."
Produced by Jason Suecof (Deicide, All That Remains, Kataklysm, Battlecross) at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida and featuring the apocalyptic cover art of Timbul Cahyono (Rotting Corpse, Pyrexia), the record serves as the band’s first studio offering in six years.

Before Pete Sandoval recorded Morbid Angel’s first album, 1989’s Altars Of Madness, he performed on two demos and a split album with his original band Terrorizer. Today, the group’s 1989 full-length debut "World Downfall" is still considered a pinnacle for death metal and grindcore, featuring impossibly fast blast-beats and double-bass drumming along with a blitzkrieg attack by late guitarist Jesse Pintado (Napalm Death), and ex-vocalist Oscar Garcia (Nausea). The 1989 lineup was rounded out by Sandoval and then-fellow Morbid Angel bandmate David Vincent on bass.

Over the next twenty-three years, Sandoval took time between Morbid Angel albums to continue working with Terrorizer, recording two more cataclysmic full-lengths, 2006’s Darker Days Ahead and 2012’s "Hordes Of Zombies." And now, another six years down the burning highway, Terrorizer is back with "Caustic Attack," their heaviest and most eclectic album to date. More...

Whiplash To Release New Album In 2019

Metal Blade Records welcomes East Coast thrash legends Whiplash to its ranks. Whiplash is an original thrash metal band, and Tony Portaro delivers over 30 years of power thrashing death.

Comments Whiplash's Tony Portaro on the signing: "My main influences were the West Coast thrash bands that Brian Slagel brought into the limelight in the early 80's. Without them attracting my attention in the first place, I never would have written Power And Pain. And the fact that Metal Blade is still promoting old school thrash and believing in me, gives me the inspiration to continue creating my East Coast style of metal." More...

Destruction Reveals New Drummer

German thrash metal legends Destruction are pleased to officially welcome Randy Black (Annihilator, Primal Fear) into the fold, after a gruelling probation that involved extensive touring with many shows around the globe.

Randy will make his official debut as the band's new drummer at Wacken-Open-Air on August 3rd, 2018.

Mastermind Schmier states:
"Many years ago, when Randy was still with Primal Fear and we were looking for a drummer, it was the first time we talked about Destructions open drummer seat. But we did not wanna approach them at that time because of his obligation with good friends. Some years later he filled in for Vaaver on the American Tour with Sepultura because Vaaver became a father again at that time. So it was obvious for me, to pass the baton to Randy first this time. And he blew us all away with his tight, groovy and over the top drumming. He's also a very cool Canadian lad that lives in Germany for many years now - so it was a perfect match right away! Hell-come on board buddy!" More...
