Aborted Releases New Single "Dreadbringer"
After slaying January with the announcement of their upcoming album "Vault Of Horrors," Belgian death metal miscreants Aborted take a stab at another horror movie classic. Together with Shadow Of Intent's Ben Duerr, the band evoke The Thing with their latest single "Dreadbringer" – a psychotic blend of guttural growls and razor sharp riffs. Monument Of Misanthropy Premiere New Single

Austrian technical brutal death metal outfit Monument Of Misanthropy have teamed up with Metalunderground.com to exclusively premiere their new single "A Nice Beheading For MoM". The track is the third and final single to arrive from the band's impending new album "Vile Postmortem Irrumatio", which marks also Monument Of Misanthropy's second studio full-length for their label home Transcending Obscurity Records. The track was mixed and mastered by Kristian "Kohle" Kohlmannslehner (Kohlekeller Studio), known for his work with Belgian deathgrinders Aborted and French brutal death band Benighted.

Aborted Premiere New Single & Music Video

Belgian deathgrind outfit Aborted has revealed the title of their upcoming album as "Vault Of Horrors." The highly-anticipated release is scheduled for March 15th via Nuclear Blast, featuring a star-studded lineup of guests. The album's first single, "Death Cult," is now available online, with a music video going live later today as well (10 am EST).
The track includes a guest appearance by Alex Erian, the vocalist of Despised Icon. Produced by Dave Otero (known for his work with Allegaeon and Cattle Decapitation), "Death Cult" draws inspiration from the iconic 1974 horror film, 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.'

Brutal Assault Unveils 23 Additional Bands

Legendary death metal act Carcass is set to make a triumphant return to the Fortress after a five-year hiatus. Joining them is Cytotoxin, promising an onslaught of toxic and brutal death metal. Death/goregrind force from Belgium Aborted will join the lineup alongside Sweden's Dark Tranquillity, renowned for their signature Gothenburg melodic death metal sound. Vltimas, the apocalypse riders, will complete this imaginary death metal circle.
American band Escuela Grind will bring chaos with their grindcore, followed by Misery Index and Rotten Sound, known for their mixes of death and grind genres. The onslaught will culminate with Pig Destroyer.
Representing the black metal genre are American act Akhlys, underground sensation Yellow Eyes, and folk psychedelic ensemble Hexvessel.
From the gothic scene, the lineup will welcome industrial favorites Deathsars and the post-punk-tinged Unto Others. Finnish melodic outfit Kalmah will arrive from the dark swamps, and heavy-rock-metal band Soil will come from overseas. Cynic, known as "tech metallers," will present a special Focus set in celebration of the re-release of their iconic debut album. Additionally, acts like Master Boot Record, with their 8-bit computer sounds, and the brutally honest post-hardcore group Svalbard will offer their unique musical perspectives.
Prepare for some hardcore action as Madball makes a comeback to Brutal Assault, after six years, promising a lively moshpit. Also making their debut at BA are established bands like Cancer Bats, Show Me The Body known for their innovative musical identity, and This Is Hell, recognized for their intense and energetic live performances in the metal punk scene.

Engulf Premiere New Single Feat. Alluvial Singer

New Jersey death metal band Engulf premiere a new single titled “Bellows From the Aether”, taken from their upcoming debut album "The Dying Planet Weeps" that Everlasting Spew Records will launch on January 12th. Vocalist Kevin Muller of Alluvial also makes a guest appearance on that track. Aborted‘s Sven de Caluwé and Hideous Divinity‘s Enrico “H.” Di Lorenzo added vocals on other songs of the record.

Marduk And Wind Rose Confirmed For 70000 Tons 2024
The organisers of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise has confirmed two more names for next year's edition of the floating festival. Joining the stacked lineup are Italian power metal dwarves Wind Rose and Swedish black metal stalwarts Marduk.
