Evergrey Reject Progressive Label
Despite being on a highly regarded progressive rock/metal label in InsideOut, Evergrey's Tom S. Englund dismissed that categorization of the band, "...we're not a prog-metal band. We're more of a straight-up metal band. We have some progressive tendencies, but we're not even close to Dream Theater or Symphony X in terms of musical ability or writing tricky parts.
