Digital Metal has an excellent selection of new reviews this week:
Machine Head Live Album
Machine Head have confirmed plans to release a live album early next year through Roadrunner/Island/Def Jam. The album will showcase a live performance captured at The Brixton Academy in London, ENG earlier this month and the set will be mixed by Colin Richardson (Fear Factory, One Minute Silence) at the end of January. A tentative release is planned in the spring.

Korn and Ozzy Osbourne have been tapped to perform at an upcoming benefit concert for the Recording Artists Coalition. The show will take place in Los Angeles, CA at the L.A. Sports Arena on February 26th.
Gathering working on new material
From the Gathering's Website:
"Studio? Yes, studio? Are we still doing something lately? Yes. After our small Dutch NL tour in october this year we had a lot of ideas about the new songs we played. Some of them are really state of the art, some will be re-recorded. We do not try to force or hesitate anything. This band operates best with no time pressure, no deadlines, no masterplan.
Well, we have a plan, but quite rough. Things are still changing, songs are growing, so it makes no sense to enter the finishing state (mix/master) already. If we have the feeling the development of the songs is finished and the ideas are mature enough, we will go to the 2nd level."

Hypocrisy in a Catch 22
According to Brave Words And Bloody Knuckles, Hypocrisy's newest full-length album is titled Catch 22. Hypocrisy's extreme metal endeavor will reportedly be unlike the band's last effort, Into the Abyss, where the band explored the black metal roots of Hypocrisy alter-ego, Abyss. Rather, Hypocrisy of 2002 is moving more towards frontman Peter Tagtgren's other band Pain and nu-metal bands like Slipknot.
