Bruce Dickinson Posts New Music Video Online
Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson has shared a music video for the song, "Rain On The Graves," the second single from his forthcoming solo album, "The Mandrake Project." You can check it out below.
Across ten inventive, expansive and absorbing tracks, Dickinson and his long-term co-writer and producer Roy Z, have created one of 2024’s defining rock albums. Sonically heavy and rich in musical textures, "The Mandrake Project" sees Bruce bring to life a musical vision long-in-the-making, and features some of the finest vocal performances of his career.
Recorded largely at LA’s Doom Room with Roy Z doubling up as both guitarist and bassist, the lineup for "The Mandrake Project" was rounded out by keyboard maestro Mistheria and drummer Dave Moreno, both of whom also featured on Bruce’s last solo studio album, "Tyranny Of Souls," in 2005.
"The Mandrake Project" is Dickinson’s seventh solo album. It will be released on March 1 via BMG worldwide on multiple formats. More...
Ministry Releases "B.D.E." Lyric Video
Toxic misogyny, violence against women, and incels are the latest target Al Jourgensen takes aim at in the song "B.D.E." (aka "Big Dick Energy") out today, including a spellbinding music video that draws the line on the poisonous behavior seen in both politics and everyday life in 2024. You can check out the video below.
Says Jourgensen of the track:
"The incel subsect and general misogynistic tendencies in our society are dangerous yet seem to fly under the radar so we figured it’s time to shine a light on it. In true Ministry fashion we battle it with sarcasm."
"B.D.E." hails from Ministry’s upcoming 16th studio album, "HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES" (out March 1, 2024 on Nuclear Blast Records) and follows the release of earlier singles "Just Stop Oil" and "Goddamn White Trash," all of which give a preview of the state of mind of creator and band leader Jourgensen who is cantankerous as ever about a f***ed up world ripe for a boot up its ass. Like always, he's merely looking around at the same dumpster fire we all are, but he's got a microphone and uses it well to rage on about the state of the world.
Joined by Ministry’s current frontline of musicians, "HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES" also has a slew of special guest contributors including Gogol Bordello’s Eugene Hutz, long-time collaborator and Lard companion Jello Biafra and Corrosion of Conformity front man Pepper Keenan. More...

Rage Debuts "Under A Black Crown" Video
Today will see the arrival of the brand-new Rage single and video for the song "Under A Black Crown". The song is also included on the upcoming double studio album "Afterlifelines." You can check out the video below.
Great events cast their (apparently equally significant) shadows before them: German Metal band Rage have announced the arrival of their latest studio album "Afterlifelines" on March 29th, 2024. The double album will consist of a total of 21 songs, including an intro, interlude and outro. Remarkably, the two records feature different musical approaches: "The first CD is called 'Afterlife' and comprises songs that we recorded as a trio, while the material on the second CD ’Lifelines‘ also includes classical orchestral arrangements," explains singer and bassist Peavy Wagner. Wagner and his two band mates Jean Bormann (guitar) and Vassilios “Lucky” Maniatopoulos (drums) have cut more than 94 minutes of new Rage music, including what Wagner calls a “20-minute grand finale”. To sweeten the wait for the album release, Steamhammer/SPV will launch three lead singles from the new disc, starting in January 2024.
In addition to the release of the double album, Rage invites you to join them on their extensive 2024 world tour, with shows and festival appearances in Canada, Japan and European countries such as Germany, Austria, Greece, Poland, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Spain and Scandinavia. Into the bargain, Peavy Wagner has already announced a major Rage biography launch for autumn 2024 to mark the group‘s 40th anniversary, including lots of rare photos, behind-the-scenes material and plenty of exciting anecdotes.
"Afterlifelines" will be released on March 29th, 2024 through SPV/Steamhammer. More...
