AC/DC Announces First Acoustic Album
Iconic Australian hard rock outfit AC/DC may be known for their electrifying music and performances, even taking their name from a machine, but more than fifty years since their first release, the band has announced plans to take the cables out and get to grips with a different approach. At long last, the quintet will pick up acoustic guitars and treat fans to new renditions of old favourites and deep cuts with their brand new album, "ACousDiC." The record was completed late last year in Sydney, Australia and features the likes of "Back In Black," "Highway To Hell," "Hell's Bells" and "Let There Be Rock" just to name a few new versions of their extraordinary catalogue.
Back in the 1990's, as many bands took the same route for MTV specials, AC/DC continued along their well trodden path, which proved to be a successful one as "The Razor's Edge" helped them retain their place as rock royalty. Offers were made for the band to appear on Unplugged but the group weren't keen on following any trends. Now, they've decided it's time to let fans hear what it could have been like. The five piece are ready to power down for one album only and fans can hear it for themselves when "ACousDiC" hits stores this Summer.
Tracklisting:
1. Hell's Bells
2. It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock And Roll)
3. Thunderstruck
4. Hail Caesar
5. Stiff Upper Lip
6. Let There Be Rock
7. TNT
8. Back In Black
9. The Jack
10. Highway To Hell
11. Jailbreak
12. Shake Your Foundations
13. For Those About To Rock

Concert T-Shirt Prices To Reach $90 Soon
Tariffs and an inevitable trade war between the United States and Liechtenstein will cause concert T-shirts to cost upwards of $90 very soon.
It’s already bad enough that for the most popular heavy metal bands such as Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses are already charging $70 for a regular two-sided, short-sleeved concert T-shirt, would it be crazy to imagine that a $70 T-shirt for is almost a sure bet now for the majority of other touring bands that aren’t the aforementioned?
We’re already to the point that we need to sell our plasma and/or take out a small loan to go to a concert nowadays, but now, it’s about to get a lot worse it seems.

Kid Rock To Lead Fed. Ticketing Oversight Agency
Kid Rock To Lead New Federal Ticketing Oversight Agency (FTOA) In Crackdown On Scalpers - Elon Musk Joins As 'Tech Advisor', Washington D.C. — April 1, 2025
In a move that has sent shockwaves through the live entertainment industry, the White House has announced the creation of a new Federal Ticketing Oversight Agency (FTOA), aimed at eliminating price gouging and scalping in the concert industry. The surprise doesn’t stop there—music icon Kid Rock has been appointed as the agency’s first director, with billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk stepping in as the agency’s Chief Technology Advisor.
The FTOA will oversee all ticket sales for major live events, working to ensure transparency in pricing and to prevent bots from hoarding tickets and reselling them at exorbitant rates. The initiative stems from last year’s executive order signed by President Donald Trump, an order that Rock himself championed as a personal passion project.
In a press conference held earlier today, Kid Rock outlined his vision for the agency, promising an aggressive approach to ticketing reform.
“This is about putting power back in the hands of the fans,” he stated. “No more bots, no more hidden fees, and no more $50 service charges just to see your favorite band.”
Sources close to the administration say Rock will have direct oversight of partnerships between ticketing companies, promoters, and venues, ensuring compliance with new pricing regulations. He has already proposed a new certification system, “Verified Fan Pricing”, which would require artists to publicly approve ticket prices before they go on sale.
“This will make sure artists aren’t just looking the other way while tickets to their own shows are being resold at 500% markup,” said Rock. “If they’re okay with that, then the public should know it.”
Elon Musk, who has been vocal about his distaste for traditional ticketing systems, has reportedly been tasked with developing a decentralized, blockchain-based platform for ticket sales under the working title “X-Tickets”. The goal is to eliminate middlemen and ensure direct artist-to-fan sales using cutting-edge AI and cryptocurrency integration.
Musk took to social media following the announcement, tweeting:
“Scalpers are lame. Let’s fix this with Dogecoin and AI. Kid Rock has the right idea. ????”
The music industry’s reaction has been mixed. While many fans and consumer advocacy groups are celebrating the move, some ticketing giants are reportedly “concerned” about how the new agency will impact their business models.
One anonymous executive from a major ticketing company commented, “Look, we all agree bots are a problem, but Kid Rock and Elon Musk personally monitoring ticket sales? This is unprecedented.”
The FTOA is set to roll out a nationwide review of ticketing platforms by summer 2025, with potential legal action against those found engaging in deceptive practices. Rock has already hinted at large-scale audits of major ticketing platforms, suggesting fines or even temporary bans for repeat offenders.
Meanwhile, Musk’s team at X (formerly Twitter) is reportedly working on an AI-powered ticketing assistant named “ScalpBot”, designed to instantly detect and disable suspicious ticket sales. Some sources suggest he is also exploring the possibility of selling concert tickets exclusively through Teslas.
“Fans are tired of getting ripped off,” Rock reiterated. “We’re going to make concerts affordable again, and if that means shaking up the industry, then so be it.”
While the effectiveness of the new agency remains to be seen, one thing is certain—live event ticketing is about to get a whole lot more interesting.
