Eyal Levi Announces Audio Boot Camps
Guitarist, composer, producer and engineer Eyal Levi (Daath) has announced a second appearance on his "Unstoppable Recording Machine" audio boot camp tour, following a successful workshop in Cleveland, Ohio at RobArnoldWorld Studio earlier this month.
Levi's next hands-on recording experience will take place on December 11th, 12th, 13th and 15th at his Orlando, Florida studio with special guests Matt Heafy and Joey Sturgis. Registration is on a first come, first served basis, and space is limited. For more information, and to sign up for the Orlando workshop, head over to this location.
Levi describes the boot camps as "intense, hands-on, comprehensive immersion style experiences that will show people exactly what matters when trying to make pro sounding recordings. In just a few days, we will cover what would take a year or more in traditional school."
Commented Joey Sturgis, known for his work with bands like Asking Alexandria, Of Mice And Men, The Devil Wears Prada and more, "Maybe you've felt like there's something missing and no matter how much you watch or read, the problems always surface. This is your chance to not only learn from us, but to also work alongside us in a professional studio setting. We will arm you with real world solutions to the problems we all face in our audio lives."
"I am honored and humbled to be selected by my good pal, Eyal Levi, to demonstrate the inner workings of what happens on a guitar-player's end of recording an album," added Matt Heafy, lead vocalist and guitarist for heavy metal group, Trivium. "Eyal is immensely talented and innovative in his technical work in the studio, and I am excited for everyone to see how it's all done!"
Born in Atlanta, Ga. into a musical family, Eyal Levi was already playing violin and piano by the age of three, and composed his first symphonic work when he was just 17. In 2010, Levi moved to Orlando, Fla. where he joined forces with Jason Suecof (Trivium, Chimaira) and Mark Lewis (Deicide, DevilDriver) at Audiohammer Studios. There he helped to both expand and enrich their facilities by adding a magnificent drum room, two new control rooms and sleeping quarters for the bands.
