Marduk And Wind Rose Confirmed For 70000 Tons 2024
The organisers of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise has confirmed two more names for next year's edition of the floating festival. Joining the stacked lineup are Italian power metal dwarves Wind Rose and Swedish black metal stalwarts Marduk. The event is scheduled to take place from January 29th to February 2nd and will sail from Miami, Florida to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

The organisers of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise have added a further two names for the 2024 edition of the event. Joining the already impressive lineup are Dutch folk metal outfit Heidevolk, as well as French Canadian death metal machine Kataklysm, who will be performing two very special sets for sailors on board 70000 Tons Of Metal. For the first time ever, they will exclusively play their Album "In the Arms of Devastation" in its entirety for one performance. For the other set they will exclusively play their album "Serenity in Fire" in it's entirety.
The cruise will take place from January 29th to February 2nd, sailing from Miami, Florida to Puerto Plaza, Dominican Republic.

The organisers of 70000 Tons Of Metal, the original heavy metal cruise, has revealed a further four names for the 2024 edition of the floating festival. Adding to the already impressive lineup, Finnish melodic death metal veterans Omnium Gatherum has been confirmed, while Dutch death/thrash metal outfit Legion Of The Damned and German heavy metal band Victory. The ship will sail out of Miami, Florida on January 29th and head to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic before returning on February 2nd.

70000 Tons Of Metal, the original and biggest metal cruise, has announced two more names for the already impressive 2024 lineup. Climbing aboard will be German heavy metal veterans Grave Digger, along with power metal compatriots Mystic Prophecy. The floating festival will begin its voyage from Miami, Florida on January 29th and head to Puerto Plaza, Dominican Republic before returning to the United States on February 2nd.

Mystic Prophecy Announces Release Show
Following the cancellation of a planned European tour as support for Orden Ogan, Mystic Prophecy received a whole lot of messages from the fans.
The band is now announcing a one-time "War Brigade" record release show at the Rockpalast (Matrix) in Bochum, Germany, on March 20th. Mystic Prophecy will be joined by God's Army and a signing session will take place afterword.
Everyone who owns a ticket for the "The Book Of Ogan Tour 2016" will receive free entry to the release show. Full info is available here.

Masterplan Announces European Tour
Melodic metal act Masterplan announced a fall European Tour with Mystic Prophecy, Jaded Heart, Siren's Cry and Sebastian beginning on October 1st, 2013 at the C Club in Berlin.
The tour is in support of the new album "Novum Initium," which is available now via AFM Records (see review at this location). Mystic Prophecy will be supporting upcoming new album "Killhammer."

Mystic Prophecy Reveals New Album Details
Mystic Prophecy has now revealed the band's new album will be titled "Killhammer." The new album was recorded at the Prophecy and Music Factory Studios with singer R.D. Liapakis once again sitting in the producer's chair. Fredrik Nordström (Hammerfall, In Flames, Arch Enemy) is responsible for the mix at the Studio Fredman in Sweden.
The band has now revealed the album's cover artwork, created by Uwe Jarling. Check it out below. R.D. Liapakis comments on the album as follows: "After 12 years and 7 albums we are ready to release our 8th album. 'Killhammer' will be a metal masterpiece with a wall of sound, loud guitars straight in your face and without compromises!"
