Throneaeon has decided to go separate ways with Hammerheart Records! They've been negotiating with a couple of interested labels and they'll soon announce through which label the next full-length album will be released.

Aborym goes without human intervention

Aborym are currently working on their forthcoming album, titled With No Human Intervention at both Temple Of Noise and Cyber Studios. Also guesting on the album are Nattefrost from Carpathian Forest and Mick Kenney from Anaal Nathrakkh. Bard G-Eithun Faust (ex-Emperor) wrote some lyrics for the new album as well.

Immortal & Impaled Nazarene Confirmed for Tuska

Immortal, Impaled Nazarene and Mustasch are the latest acts to have been confirmed for the Tuska Open Air Metal Festival, which is scheduled to take place on July 12-14 in the Kaisaniemi park in the center of Helsinki, Finland. In its fifth installment, Tuska Open Air Metal Festival is expected to draw in excess of 10,000 attendees over a three-day period. Laiho Responds to Goss' Critics

Sinergy guitarist Alexi Laiho (who also doubles up as the frontman in Children of Bodom) has issued the following statement regarding the rumors and speculation regarding the departure of bassist Marco Hietala (currently in Nightwish)

"I f.cking hate the internet, but I have to speak out on this Marco situation! This is bullsh.t & it's none of yer f.cking business what's happening inside the band. I disagree about Kimberly [Goss] writing the news in such detail, 'cuz like I said, I think it's none of yer business, but she does what she wants and I respect her for that. It is not Kimberly or anyone else's fault about what happened. This sh.t f.ckin' happens in this business! Yea, things got f.cked up with Marco, but we're moving on and assholes who like to talk sh.t on different message boards can f.ck off!!!!!! Stop blaming Kimberly or Marco, or whoever else and get a f.cking life!!! Leave this for the bands to handle. Is it cool that Kimberly gave the news just to be nice to the fans and now she's getting sh.t for it? I know the good 99.9% of you understand me, so this is NOT directed towards you. RESPECT TO YA!"

Malevolence Record Third Album

Portugal's extreme metal blasters MALEVOLENCE are currently in pre-production for their as-yet-untitled third album, which is expected to surface through Maquiavel Music Entertainment later in the year. Among the tracks set to appear on the forthcoming CD are "Angel Deconstruction", "Disobedience" and "Flesh Destroyer".

Songs of Praise for Cathedral

British doom metallers Cathedral have set Songs Of Praise as the tentative title to their forthcoming seventh full-length album and first for new label Dreamcatcher Records.

The group will head to Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire, England to record the album, which is "not quite so doom as Endtyme, a bit more catchy in places, but still very heavy, with quite a diverse mix of tunes," according to Cathedral's official site. However, the band are still searching for a producer to helm the project. Songs Of Praise will feature the artwork of longtime Cathedral artist Dave Patchett, who was only featured on the Japanese version of Endtyme for the band's final album for Earache Records.

Lullacry Dump Vocalist

Finnish female-fronted act Lullacry have ousted vocalist Tanya for unspecified reasons, the band's website posted.

Lullacry are looking for "a courageous female singer who is ready to put 110 percent effort into the band like the rest of the band members." Currently, the rest of the band are focusing on material for the follow-up to last year's Be My God effort.

Immortal Recruit Saroth

Norwegian black metallers Immortal have found a replacement for departed four-stringer Iscariah in Saroth, a session bassist for Sweden's Pain.

"New axeman is Saroth who in addition to Immortal, also plays bass for Swedish Pain together with Horgh for their liveshows. After the successful tour, he's now a permament member of Immortal," a news post on the Immortal website stated.
