Autopsy Dig Up Vintage Video For DVD

The band came up with over 4 hours of material which we've sorted out and made into a, kind of, home movie / road movie type of thing. The quality isn't always the best, in fact it can be downright dodgy - but as anyone who knows the band will tell you, this is classic footage!! At least two whole shows, a rehearsal and tons more unique footage will make this one of the most talked about releases of next year.

More Details On Katatonia's Delayed DVD Set

After much internal wrangling, Katatonia have decided not to release their first full stand alone DVD just yet. However, the show that they filmed in Poland will still feature as a DVD, but it will now form one of three discs in an exclusive limited edition triple box set which will be available early in the new year. Two CD's will span the whole of their career to date and feature one exclusive track, while the third disk will contain the whole Krakow show in 5.1 surround sound.

The band are also about to embark on the recording of their 7th studio album which is expected to be released in early Autumn 2005.

H.I.M. Postpone US West Coast Shows

HIM were forced to postpone US West Coast shows when frontman Ville Valo was diagnosed as suffering from extreme laryngitis. They hope to re-schedule the dates – in San Francisco and Los Angeles – during February.

Carcass Frontman Pays Tribute To Schuldiner

Jeff Walker, who fronted seminal death metalheads Carcass, will join Finnish band To Separate The Flesh From The Bones on December 19 for a live performance. This happens in Tampere, Finland at a show called 'The Fragile Art Of Existence – Tribute To Chuck Shuldiner'. All proceeds will go to charity.

Slechtvalk To Release New Album

Slechtvalk has succesfully recorded their third full-length album, called 'At The Dawn Of War'. On the 6th of november 2004 the also recorded their first DVD. Both will be released in a limited 500 copies edition combined CD/DVD digipack. After that they will be sold seperately. Covers of both versions will drawn by the famous Belgian artist Kris Verwimp.

Amon Amarth New Video Premier On Sunday

Amon Amarth filmed a video for the song 'Pursuit Of Vikings' from their new album, Fate Of Norns, on November 23rd during the Once Sealed In Blood tour in Bischofswerda, Germany . It will premier in Germany on Sunday, December 5th on the VIVA PLUS show Axt and will be shown at a later date on VIVA TV's Hell's Kitchen program.

Live Vehemence Video Posted Online

Arizona-based death metallers Vehemence have posted a live video for their track "By Your Bedside" at this location (Windows Media). The clip was filmed on June 8, 2004 at The Mason Jar in Phoenix, Arizona. Photos from the band's recently completed tour with Mortician and Akercocke have been posted online at this location.

"By Your Bedside" comes off Vehemence's third studio album, "Helping The World To See", available now through Metal Blade Records. The follow-up to 2002's "God Was Created" was produced by Will Solares and Vehemence at Open Primary Productions/DBD Studios in Maricopa, Arizona. Mixing duties were handled by Will Solares. Artwork was conceived by Wes Benscoter.
