Lamb Of God announce new Burn The Priest album
Lamb of God are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their previous incarnation Burn The Priest with a new 10 track covers album, titled "Legion: XX". The album is due out May 18 via Epic Records.
"Legion: XX" will feature covers of classic songs by Cro-Mags, Bad Brains, Big Black, Ministry, Melvins, Quicksand and more.

Listen to new material from Abjection Ritual
Pennsylvania-based doom/death industrial duo Abjection Ritual have released a new track, "Body of Filth", from their forthcoming album "Soul Of Ruin, Body Of Filth". Listen to the track below:
The album will be released April 6th through Malignant Records. Unlike their previous releases, the new album incorporates guitars, bass, and a live drummer.
The Sword release "Used Future", announce tour
Austin, Texas-based rock act The Sword released their sixth studio album, "Used Future", yesterday.
A video for the title track was also released and can be viewed below. The video was created by Austin-based game studio Rooster Teeth, in the spirit of old Nintendo games.
Original Dokken lineup release video of new track
Legendary 80s rockers Dokken reunited their original lineup - Don Dokken, George Lynch, Jeff Pilson and Mick Brown - to play the Loud Park Festival in Japan and one date in the US in 2016. Those performances were recorded and will be released as a live album, "Return To The East Live (2016)", on April 20th through Frontiers Music Srl.
In addition to their classic songs, the band recorded a new song - "It's Just Another Day". View the video for this song below:
Cave Bastard release debut album
San Diego-based Cave Bastard's debut album, titled "The Bleak Shall Devour The Earth", was released yesterday through Accident Prone Records.
Cave Bastard features ex and current members of Cattle Decapitation, Gutrot, Ritual Torture, Bridge Jumper, and Temblad. They describe their sound as apocalyptic and dystopian.
The album is currently streaming on Decibel Magazine's web site.
The band have a short run of California tour dates, including an album release show in their hometown on April 19th. More dates will be announced shortly.

New release date for Dark Buddha Rising EP
Finnish psychedelic doom outfit Dark Buddha Rising are set to release an EP titled "//" on Neurot Recordings on the new date of April 20. The EP will contain two tracks, clocking in at 26 minutes.
The release date occurs a day after the band's collaborative performance with fellow Finns Oranssi Pazuzu at Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, The Netherlands. The collaboration, which will perform an exclusive new concept piece, is called Waste Of Space Orchestra.
