Cradle of Filth Signs with Sony

The Cradle of Filth mailing list sends word that Cradle of Filth has signed with Sony(Epic) for an undisclosed number of albums.

We have signed to Sony and the first release will be a full studio album next year(2002), producer to be advised, and it will be released on Epic worldwide, it will be via our imprint AbraCadaver.

Tatoo the Earth vs Planet

The promoters behind the Tattoo The Earth festival, which toured America last summer, are not best pleased with the concept behind the Tattoo The Planet tour, due to hit the UK and Europe in September. In fact, the former are so 'not pleased' that they are contemplating legal action against the promoters of the latter, which will feature Pantera, Slayer and Cradle Of Filth.

I actually thought they were one in the same, so I can see where there could be confusion or a reason that the original Tatoo the Earth promoters might be upset...

Ginger Snaps Soundtrack

Cradle Of Filth, Machine Head and Fear Factory head the list of bands featured on the soundtrack to the horror movie 'Ginger Snaps', which is due for release next month on Roadrunner. Other bands you'll find on this heavy collection include Godhead, Glassjaw, Soulfly, Professional Murder Music, Hatebreed and Saliva.
