End of the Triads
Revenge Of The Triads, the band featuring Snake River Conspiracy’s Jason Slater, A Perfect Circle’s Troy Van Leeuwen and Charlie Clouser of Nine Inch Nails, have split up. This is apparently due to problems with their record company, LMC.
Halford Guitarist Chooses Dielsel Machine
Halford guitarist Patrick Lachman has left the band to concentrate on his other project, Diesel Machine. Halford are currently auditioning potential replacements, but will use their producer Roy Z in the short term for live work.
Roadrunner Takes Deathride
Californian band Deathride, who include Coal Chamber’s Dez Fafara in their line-up, have signed to Roadrunner. Their debut album is to be produced by Ross Hogarth, who in the past has worked with…Coal Chamber. Titled ‘Swinging The Dead’, the album should be out in July.
Within Temptation Sign With G.U.N.
Dutch band Within Temptation have signed a new deal with G.U.N. Records. The band will have their 2001 album, ‘Mother Earth’, re-issued on January 27, with four bonus cuts and a new cover.
