Deformity Is Superior
Belgian metal band Deformity have finished recording their second full length, 'Superior' at Excess studios/Rotterdam. Mastering will take place at Electric Studios in Brussels. The album is set to be released on Displeased records on May 25th 2002.
Lavabone Recording
Lavabone have taken the past few weeks off from playing shows to polish up some songs in a Hollywood recording studio with producer/engineer Dave Dominguez, whose credits include Papa Roach, Powerman 5000, Staind and Guns N Roses.
"The songs are coming along amazingly. We're really excited to get this finished so you can hear it. It's looking like we'll have the mix done within the next couple weeks."
Genitorturers European Tour Dates
In May, the Genitorturers will return to Europe for a tour in
support of their CD "Flesh is the Law". The tour will feature 2 special event appearances to include a show on the open air stage at this years WGT: Wave Gothik Festival on Friday, May 17th as well as a performance at this year's Wasteland Festival, Europe's premier event located in Holland which has gathers over 7,000 fashion, music and lifestyle enthusiasts. The European/UK release of "Flesh is the Law" EP will be available in May on Dreamcatcher records.
