New Jersey’s Spider Rockets sent in a well-told story of traveling between gigs one foggy night while touring in upstate New York:
It was late, and we had finished our last night playing a festival in upstate New York. We were dirty and tired of hanging out with nature and decided to hit the road instead of camping out for another night. All around us were mountains and enough one-lane winding roads to make one uncomfortable driving in the daytime. Cell phone service was pretty much unavailable, too. Definitely no hotels. Also, as you can imagine, no nearby cities... The fog started coming in as we were leaving. We started driving and we realized how bad the visibility actually was.More...

Hardcore Anal Hydrogen premiere a new song and video entitled "Jean-Pierre", taken from their upcoming new album "HyperCut", which will be out in stores March 23rd via Apathia Records.
Tells the band's label: "HyperCut is one of the craziest album released in the past years, with influences from Jazz to Black Metal."

Jesus Piece North American Tour Starting This Week
Metallic hardcore quartet JESUS PIECE will kick off their massive North American tour with Knocked Loose, Terror, and Year Of The Knife this week. The tour begins this Wednesday, February 28th in Nashville, Tennessee, then winds its way through the entire country and into Canada for twenty-nine shows in all, the trek ending in JESUS PIECE's hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 1st.
Additional tour dates for JESUS PIECE will continue to be announced throughout the year in support of their impending debut LP, which was recently recorded at Chicago's Bricktop Recording Studio with Andy Nelson (Weekend Nachos, Like Rats). The LP is being finalized for a Summer release through Southern Lord; stand by for details to be issued shortly.

Divine Realm Debut Pre-Release Full-Album Stream
Ontario based instrumental progressive metal act Divine Realm recently announced their forthcoming five-song EP, Nordicity. Set for release on March 2nd. Nordicity is an accomplished instrumental progressive metal release with a well-crafted sound that eschews tired cliches and simple structures in favor of passionate and eclectic songs that defy easy categorization.
Today the band launch an early full stream of Nordicity ahead of the official release this Friday, March 2nd. Fans of Angel Vivaldi, Pomegranate Tiger, Between The Buried And Me’s melodic side, The Human Abstract, and Animals As Leaders will dig what Nordicity has to offer.
Black Wizard Debut Pre-Release Full-Album Stream

Hiidenhauta Premiere New Music Video "Nälkäkevät"
Finnish melodic black metal band Hiidenhauta debut a new music video for 'Nälkäkevät' from their upcoming second album '1695'. The album’s theme revolves around the Great Famine of 1695-1697, a great calamity which beset the Finnish area at the time. During the period, approximately every third citizen of Finland (then under the Swedish rule) met their end as a result of starvation or epidemics.

Stillborn Reveals New Album Details
Following the last album, 'Testimonio de Bautismo', the death metal barbarians STILLBORN return with a new material to be released under the banner of Godz Ov War Productions. On 12 March 2018, a new mini-album titled 'Crave for Killing' will be released, and it will contain four brand new tracks and a re-recorded version of the title track known from the debut demotape 'Mirrormaze' released nearly 20 years ago. YAITW Disband Due To Allegations Of Sexual Assault
Young And In The Way have broken up in the wake of allegations of apparent sexual assault and more - allegations which the group deny. Those allegations stem from three and a half years back when Young And In The Way stayed at the house of the woman in question after a performance.
Her statement on the alleged incident can be read below:
“Trigger warnings: graphic details of sexual assaultMore...The following post is from a member of the Trumbullplex booking collective pertaining to the sexual assault carried out by the band Young and in the Way. We aren’t using the term “allegations” or “accusations” as the collective member was directly involved in the situation and knows for the account to be 100% accurate and truthful.
We’re hoping for this to reach the promoters of Psycho Las Vegas and 71Grind IV rather quickly, as the band’s record label has already reached out to us.

At The Gates Reveal New Album Details
At The Gates reveal the official details for their new full-length “To Drink From The Night Itself“. Century Media have the Russ Russell (Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir) produced effort scheduled for a May 18th release date. A video produced by Patric Ullaeus (In Flames, Arch Enemy) for the first single will be premiered soon as well.
