God Forbid Join Hatebreed Tour

God Forbid has been confirmed for a handful of dates on the upcoming Hatebreed, Poison The Well, and Sworn Enemy tour. Following that run, God Forbid will hit the road with GWAR and Soilent Green (Soilent Green will miss the first 6 shows due to their recent van accident) from 1/16 until 1/26. Dag Nasty Revelation

Wow, I didn't know there was even a metal scene in DC... Washington, D.C. hardcore legends Dag Nasty have signed to Revelation Records. Dag Nasty will begin work on their Revelation Records debut in January 2002. Dag Nasty will head into Inner Ear Studios in Washington, D.C. with producers Brian Baker (who also plays guitar in Dag Nasty) and Doug Hansgen (Minor Threat) to record their as-yet-untitled full-length. Their new full-length is expected to come out sometime in mid- to late-2002 on Revelation Records.

Broken Dreams

Sweden's In Thy Dreams, featuring members of Carnal Forge and Dellamorte, are strongly rumored to have disbanded after the release of Highest Beauty. It appears guitarist Jari Kuusisto and drummer Stefan Westerberg aren't interested in pursuing the project anymore and want to focus more on Carnal Forge. However, chances are that guitarist Hakan Stuvemark and bassist Petri Kuusisto will continue the outfit with vocalist Thomas Lindfors.

Cattle Decapitation By Metal Blade?

Kick-ass name. Californian death-grind outfit Cattle Decapitation, featuring members of The Locust, are currently in negotiations with Metal Blade Records. Cattle Decapitation's To Serve Man is due out in mid-2002 and the band will do a full U.S. in support of their Metal Blade debut.

The weekend looked pretty slow on news when I decided to work on my computers and take myself offline for longer than expected. By the time I got back up and running, the server was down...
