Old Man's Child Push Through Delays
Norway's Old Man's Child, featuring Dimmu Borgir members Galder (guitars) and Nick Barker (drums, also in Lockup), will issue their long-awaited new CD, tentatively titled In Defiance Of Existence, in January through Century Media Records. According to Galder, the delay is due to the fact that there has "just been so many fuck-ups with this album! We had to go and re-mix the album, first of all, and I wasn't to happy with the lyrics as well (someone else did them at first), so I decided to just re-write all the lyrics myself and do the vocals over again, and so I did, so now everything seems to be in order and it should be out the latest in January (but you never know with O.M.C.), if things go as planned. Anyway, I'm very happy with the final result."

Skyfire's Mind Revolution
Sweden's Skyfire have revealed the title of their second full-length and follow-up to last year's Timeless Departure album as Mind Revolution.

Enslaved Finish Seventh Album
Norwegian metallers Enslaved have just completed work on their seventh full-length album and follow-up to Monumension, according to Osmose Productions.
Currently without title, Enslaved's new opus was produced by the band, legendary Norwegian producer Pytten and Jørgen Træen. The mixing for the album will take place in January, and it's said the as-yet-untitled album is "heavy, loud, sophisticated and as mesmerizing as ever."
In similar news, Enslaved will be releasing a DVD of a recorded show in Warsaw, Poland. So far details are scant, but the affair is said to be "full-blown." A title, release date and a detailed list of DVD content is expected to surface shortly.
