Mick Morris Reportedly Passes Away
Altpress.com has reported that Mick Morris, who went by the online named "MickDeth," passed away yesterday, June 2nd. According to the story he passed away due to a heart condition.
Mick Morris was the bassist for Eighteen Visions, and formerly played bass for U.S. act Bleeding Through. At this point no official statement has been released by either band or by Mick's family.
Although his tweet's are protected, anyone who was previously following Mick online can read the final messages before his death at this location. Further details on Mick's death will be updated as they become available. More...

Burn Halo Sets Release Date For Debut Album
Burn Halo, featuring former Eighteen Visions singer/songwriter, will be releasing their self-titled debut March 10 on Rawkhead Records (through Warner Music Group’s Independent Label Group).
The album’s first single, “Dirty Little Girl,” which features a guest appearance by Avenged Sevenfold’s Synyster Gates, is already getting spins on radio stations around the country, and is in regular rotation on Sirius XM Satellite Radio’s “Octane” station. A video for the track was recently shot in at the Slide Bar in Orange County, CA with Nate Weaver (Against Me!, Taking Back Sunday) at the director’s helm, and will hit the TV and Internet airwaves within the coming weeks.
Anyone who was watching the Dallas Cowboys/Baltimore Ravens football game on the NFL Network on Saturday, December 20 might have heard another song from the album, “Our House,” during the broadcast. The track will also be heard during a recap of the college football season for “College Football Now” on the NFL Network, which will air this week and weekend, and will be streamed simultaneously on the station’s website. Escape the Fate to Headline US Tour in Spring
After honing their skills on the road most recently with Chiodos and Silverstein, Escape the Fate is set to headline their own six-week US tour beginning on February 5 in Pomona, CA. Tickets for all shows go on sale Saturday December 13. Main support on the tour courtesy of Florida's Black Tide with additional support from Attack Attack, William Control (Aiden) and Burn Halo (ex-Eighteen Visions).
Escape the Fate's recent release "This War is Ours" has kept the scene buzzing since its release on October 21 via Epitaph Records. Monument to Thieves Formed
Keith Barney, formerly of Eighteen Visions and Throwdown, among others, is now part of a new Orange County, California hardcore band called Monument to Thieves. The group also features David Richardson (As Hope Dies, Force Of Change) on vocals and Matt Horwitz (The Agony Scene, Adamantium) on drums.
The group has posted two newly recorded demo tracks on their MySpace page and will play their first show on October 26th at the Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA.
Ex-Eighteen Visions Guitarist Joins Love Thyne
Earlier this month Southern California metal/hardcore outfit Love Thyne added former Eighteen Visions and Throwdown member Keith Barney to their line-up on guitar. The group recently recorded some new demo material, which can be found online on the band's MySpace page.
