New music from Wretched has surfaced with the track “Radiance” premiering online this morning, September 18th. The North Carolinian death metal band are gradually unveiling songs from their long-awaited fifth studio album, “Decay”, due out October 17th on Metal Blade Records. A Killer's Confession, the alternative metal outfit fronted by ex-Mushroomhead vocalist Waylon Reavis, have paired today's release of their new album “Victim 2” with the debut of a music video for “Hopeless Gray.” The clip was directed by fellow Mushroomhead alumnus Richard “Stitch” Thomas, who also became a member of A Killer’s Confession earlier this year.

Melodic death metal supergroup The Halo Effect have dropped their rendition of W.A.S.P.’s 1984 anthem “I Wanna Be Somebody“. The track will appear on the band’s upcoming covers EP, “We Are Shadows“, which Nuclear Blast are set to release on November 21st in both vinyl and digital editions. Each song on the EP was handpicked by a different member of the group, all of whom hail from In Flames and related projects.
