With Honor Signs To Victory Records
Connecticut hardcore band With Honor has officially signed with Victory Records. Formed in mid-2002 by members of Hamartia (among other bands), the group released a full-length with Stillborn Records early last year. With Honor will enter the studio this summer to record their Victory debut, which should be out this Fall.
Emblazoned Signs To Funeral Verse Records
Black metal band Emblazoned have now joined the Funeral Verse Records roster. The band's new album, "A Ceremony Of Hellfire," will be available on April 25th. You can download a track from the effort here.
Watch Them Die Recording New Album
Oakland's Watch Them Die are currently in the studio tracking their next album for Century Media Records. The group is recording the album, tentatively titled "Bastard Son," at Prairie Sun Recording Studios in Cotati, CA. According to vocalist Pat Vigil, "This album continues to push the boundaries of thrash metal to brutal extremes, while at the same time exploring the gut wrenching musical depths of anger, pain and redemption."
New Flaw Rough Demo Track Available for Download
Sin's Metal News has posted a raw demo track from the remaining members of FLAW, who are currently looking for a new lead singer. Ryan Jurhs (Bass), Lance Arny (Guitar), and Micah Havertape have been busy since singer, Chris Volz departed, and have written music for an albums worth of material. The band is looking for someone, "who can really sing, write lyrics and melodies."

Korn's Brian "Head" Welch Audio Statement
An audio statement from Brian "Head" Welch himself has been exclusively uploaded to Korn Web. The 50-second clip, from KRAB, 106.1 FM, is a personal message explaining his departure from the band. It can be downloaded here, here, or here.
Monolithe's Second Album Out In April
French doom metal band Monolithe will release the second full-length album entited simply II on April 25th through Appease Me... / Candlelight Records.
In addition to that, in the summer (most probably end of May or beginning of June) another brand-new release featuring Monolithe's music will be out. This will be a split release with Polish doom act Oktor. Both bands are working on their parts and the split will feature one lengthy (approx. 20 minutes) track from each band. Monolithe's track, entitled Monolithic Pillars introduces Laurent Desvignes as a vocalist in the band's line-up. The split will be released via our label Foreshadow Productions.
Funerary Dirge Song For Download
Canadian funeral doomsters Funerary Dirge have posted "Her Laughter, My Sorrow" online. Go here to download it.
The track is taken from the upcoming 2CD album, "Chapter I And II: Requiem And Regret", which is scheduled for an April/May release.

Saxon Reschedule UK Tour Dates
Saxon have re-scheduled those UK dates which they've been forced to postpone from March. The shows will now happen at Bradford Rio October 16, Dudley JB's 17, Nottingham Rock City 18, Edinburgh Liquid Rooms 19. Brainstorm will be the support act.

The tour is being billed as 'An Evening With Dio', and will feature two sets from the band, including the whole of the 'Holy Diver' album. Tickets go on sale February 25.
Former Nothingface/Skrape Members Speak Out
SEVER, the new project from former NOTHINGFACE members Tom Maxwell (guitar), Tommy Sickles (drums), and Jerry Montano (bass), plus former SKRAPE frontman Billy Keeton, have been continuing to work on new material as of late and will soon be making their live debut. Here's what Maxwell recently had to say on the matter:
"...We've been doing nothing but writing and recording songs. Now that we've reached up toward 30 songs, we're going to be turning up the heat from now on. Jerry has one more tour to do with Danzig and will be back in time for rehearsals and our first show in March. Which btw is on March 21st at Fletchers in Baltimore w/ DFD."
The group, who were previously known as COLDWHITECHRIST, are not likely to continue using the name SEVER however and are thought to be deciding upon a new moniker for themselves.
