Dimitri Leaves Dillinger Escape Plan
Hot off the presses from the Relapse newsletter:
Due to personal reasons, Dimitri Minakakis, lead singer and co-founding member of the Dillinger Escape Plan, has left the band to pursue non-music related endeavors.
Both Dimitri and the rest of the band would like to make it very clear that this parting is 100% mutual and amicable; and in no way due to dysfunction between members. He has always been, and will continue to be, part of everything that this band does.
Dillinger Escape Plan has reportedly not broken up but will be on hiatus until a new singer is in place. There will be one more show with the current lineup including Dimitri, which will be announced in the coming weeks.
