Battle Beast Debuts "Twilight Cabaret" Music Video
Today, Finnish heavy metal sensation Battle Beast proudly release their seventh studio album, "Steelbound" — an electrifying and highly anticipated record that marks a bold new chapter for the band.
With "Steelbound," Battle Beast delivers a dynamic mix of power, melody, and attitude. The album roars to life with crushing heavy tracks like "Last Goodbye," flirts with pop brilliance on "Angel Of Midnight," invites everyone to the dance floor with unapologetic party anthems like "Here We Are," and uplifts spirits with the empowering title track "Steelbound."
A thunderous monument of defiance and resilience, "Steelbound" stands as an earnest battle cry for anyone who has ever been dismissed, diminished, or silenced — and at the same time, it radiates pure positivity and joy. For 38 minutes, fans are invited to throw their worries away, sing, dance, headbang, and do whatever feels right!
To mark this special day, Battle Beast has also unveiled a brand-new music video for "Twilight Cabaret," offering fans another glimpse into the vibrant world of "Steelbound." You can check it out below. More...
Gaerea Announces New Album, "Loss"
After plunging into aquatic darkness with their August single "Submerged," Portugal’s masked Gaerea are today "Hellbound," with their new single. You can check out the music video for the song below.
Gaerea are nothing short of a beautiful enigma rooted in musical extremity and utter passion. In under a decade, the masked collective, born in the Portuguese town of Porto, have navigated countless darkened shades of metal to arrive at their fifth album and Century Media debut, "Loss." "Loss" will be released 20th March 2026, and you can pre-order here.
"Hellbound" is a vision of Gaerea at their most uncompromising - a song that resonates with listeners drawn to dark, emotional, and confrontational music.
The band comment: "’Hellbound’ is an intense and cathartic track, diving deep into themes of guilt, heartbreak, and self-destruction. With searing riffs and visceral vocals, it captures the tension between vulnerability and aggression, love and betrayal. Vivid imagery of fire, thorns, and restless ghosts amplifies its raw emotional weight, making it both haunting and empowering." More...
Sirenia Shares "Nightside Den" Video
"Nightside Den" is the title of Sirenia’s brand new song, the first single from the upcoming album "Amanita Messis." The song was released one week ago and today (October 17th) the videoclip premieres on Sirenia's official youtube channel at 18:00 hours CET. "Nightside Den" is in many ways a typical Sirenia song, it has a lot of those typical elements that the band loves to include in their songs. It’s a melodic and groovy mid-tempo song with a very catchy chorus and a nice Symphonic touch. The videoclip was shot in Marseille, France - the hometown of lead singer Emma Zoldan. The premiere will be hosted by Morten Veland, the band's founder, songwriter and guitar player. Check out "Nightside Den" on Sirenia's official Youtube channel. More...
Megadeth And Anthrax Added To Mystic Festival
The Main Stage will be completely occupied by legends of the American scene. Megadeth, Anthrax, Overkill and Forbidden together on the stage.
Megadeth
Megadeth are retuning as Mystic Festival headliners as the crowning finish of an unrepeatable day with the American thrash metal. The cover art of their seventeenth – and, unfortunately, final – album, slated for January release, sees Vic Rattlehead on fire, yet smiling mischievously. Before he turns to ashes, he’ll dance with us one last time. Heads will roll, for, after all, killing is his business… and for 40 years, the business has been good. In 1984, Dave Mustaine, perhaps the best guitarist in the history of thrash metal, instead of wallowing after having been kicked out of Metallica, reemerged with a new band and with music that was sharper and better – the final coming of thrash. After all, can anyone do more justice to this genre of metal than Megadeth on Rust in Peace or Countdown to Extinction? Years pass and Mustaine’s band has yet to wane, despite line-up changes and fortune’s whims. If they are to bid farewell now, it’s only so they can leave the stage undefeated.
Anthrax
They’ve been spreading the thrash disease since 1981. While at it, they helped Judge Dredd enforce the rule of law, pioneered the marriage of metal with rap, popped by the house of the Bundy family and haunted the black lodge in Twin Peaks, not to mention touring the whole world over. First and foremost, however, they have us an abundance of great music. From the venomous speed metal of their debut Fistful of Metal, through the textbook thrash of Among the Living, to the groove on steroids of their later records. What they brought to the thrash Big Four is the New York formula for blending metal with punk, a sense of humor and the daring to venture out to new sounds. More...
