Corey Taylor Guests On Rachel Bolan’s New Single

Corey Taylor has lent his vocals to “Big Stick”, a newly released single from Rachel Bolan. The track appears on Bolan’s newly issued solo album “Gargoyle Of The Garden State” and also features guitar work from Damon Johnson (Thin Lizzy, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc.).

According to Bolan, Taylor’s involvement came together with remarkable ease. Speaking with Terri Carr, the longtime Skid Row bassist revealed that he reached out to Taylor about collaborating and received an enthusiastic response before the singer had even heard the song.

Bolan described “Big Stick” as being influenced by the style of veteran punk rock outfit Sham 69 and was full of praise for Taylor’s contribution to the track, stating:

“Corey Taylor’s contribution is fantastic. Corey’s got such a cool voice for punk rock, his pitch is so perfect. He’s such an amazing, beautiful, incredible singer.”

The collaboration finds Taylor stepping into a more punk-oriented setting, pairing his recognizable vocal style with Bolan’s solo material.

Polyphia Premiere Disturbing New Music Video

Progressive instrumental outfit Polyphia have released a new standalone single titled “CAN YOU FEEL IT”, accompanied by an official music video directed by the band’s acclaimed guitarist Tim Henson.

Musically, the track leans into a more dance-influenced direction while retaining the technical flair and genre-blurring approach that have become synonymous with the band’s sound. The accompanying video mirrors that eclectic energy, delivering a rapid-fire barrage of imagery designed to overwhelm the senses.

The visuals jump between a wide array of subjects and references, including elaborate cakes, explosions, vintage internet meme clips, unsettling footage, and other surreal imagery. The result is a chaotic, constantly shifting presentation that complements the frenetic and unpredictable nature of the song itself.
