Allegaeon Premiere New Music Video For “Dark Matter Dynamics” Featuring Adrian Bellue

Technical death metal outfit Allegaeon have premiered a new music video for “Dark Matter Dynamics”, a standout track from their latest album, “The Ossuary Lens”. The song features a guest appearance from acclaimed acoustic guitarist Adrian Bellue, whose contributions helped shape one of the record's most unique compositions.

Guitarist Greg Burgess reflected on the collaboration, stating:

“‘Dark Matter Dynamics’ is a very special song for me. Having the opportunity to explore my love for steel string acoustic music, and bringing it into the fold with Allegaeon, will forever be a source of pride. Not only that but exploring this marriage of two styles with an acoustic heavy weight Adrian Bellue was equally special.”

Vocalist Ezra Haynes also shared his enthusiasm for the track and the band's friendship with Bellue:

“‘Dark Matter Dynamics’ is here and I am pumped! Over recent years, we’ve grown close with our good buddy, Adrian Bellue, and I’m thankful Greg introduced us! He rips on the guitar and he’s an even better friend. We’re especially excited to play ‘Dark Matter Dynamics’ Saturday night at Flatline Fest in Denver with Adrian himself!

The chorus gets me hyped! I think it’s the most jump-worthy Allegaeon riff ever written! As Haynes noted, Allegaeon are set to perform the song live with Bellue this weekend at the inaugural Flatline Fest in Denver, Colorado. The festival, curated by producer Dave Otero, takes place June 13th–14th at The Oriental Theater and features numerous artists Otero has worked with throughout his career. Technical death metal leaders Archspire and deathgrind veterans Cattle Decapitation will headline the event, with Allegaeon appearing on the festival's closing day.
