Sinner To Release Final Album "Boom Bang Goodbye" In July; Shares New Video For "Wait"
Sinner, featuring Primal Fear bassist / co-founder Mat Sinner, will release their final album, "Boom Bang Goodbye," on July 31 via Reigning Phoenix Music.
With this final album, Mat Sinner closes an eventful chapter spanning 40+ years and 19 albums. "Boom Bang Goodbye" unifies a gathering of high-class musicians including Ronnie Romero (Rainbow), Michael Sadler (Saga), Björn “Speed” Strid (Soilwork), Jim Müller (Kissin’ Dynamite) and Erik Mårtensson (Eclipse) – to name but a few – igniting a brilliant last fireworks of 11 songs. One such song is "Wait," which has been given the music video treatment and can be seen below.
"I wanted the first song on the album to be a feel-good, upbeat track, something to lift your spirits, because I didn’t want to add to the political madness we’re in with a depressing soundtrack. ‘Wait’ is also representative of the whole album. Working with Michael Bormann again after 10 years was an instant connection; the chemistry was perfect. And, like on the entire album, drummer Moritz Müller and my partner Alex Scholpp delivered an incredibly awesome performance. Plus, my friend Jacob Hansen did an absolutely brilliant mix, and Mat was 100% happy!" – Mat Sinner
