Midwinter Premiere Two New Music Videos Alongside Release Of New Album "A Love I Hope Will Haunt Me Forever"

Atmospheric metalcore band Midwinter have released their new album “A Love I Hope Will Haunt Me Forever” via Papercut Recordings. The band’s sophomore effort arrives alongside a music video for “Eager Tides,” directed by Father Seabear. In addition, they have also shared a separate video for “Hourglass,” directed by Sam Grossman.

Midwinter signed to Papercut Recordings this past February, a label run by members of Brand of Sacrifice and Fit For A King.

Speaking on the album, the band commented:

“This album came from a really personal place for us. It’s about losing someone you love and trying to make sense of everything that comes after; the doubt, the anger, the quiet moments where it all sinks in. Sonically, we let ourselves experiment and push into heavier, stranger territory, somewhere between progressive metalcore and thall with a specific emphasis on sound design. We wanted the sound of the album to reflect the raw emotion of the lyrics while also maintaining our staple modern sound.”
