Ozzy Osbourne Reveals New Album Release Date
Heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne has announced that he will be releasing his brand new studio album, "Scream" on June 15th through Epic Records. The first single from the album, "Let Me Hear You Scream" is to premier on a new episode of CSI: NY which will air tonight at 10 - 11PM, (ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and also arrives at radio today.

New Ozzy Osbourne DVD To Be Released In June
A new Ozzy Osbourne live DVD will be released on June 29th, which contains a full concert from the heavy metal icon from his 1982 Diary Of A Madman tour. The concert clocks in at around 72 minutes and features guitarist Brad Gillis who had replaced Randy Rhoads following his tragic death. The show contains 13 songs including the Black Sabbath staples, "Iron Man," "Children Of The Grave" and "Paranoid." The DVD also comes with a full 20 page reconstruction of the original tour programme and a CD of the concert.
Ozzy Osbourne Reveals New Album Title
Heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne has announced that his new studio album, previously entitled, "Soul Sucka," will now be named, "Scream." This will be the first Ozzy Osbourne album to feature Firewind guitarist Gus G., who replaced longtime Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde last year. The records first single, "Let Me Hear You Scream" will premiere on a forthcoming episode of CSI:NY, which will air on April 14th on CBS. Stay tuned for further information.

Ozzy Osbourne Movie In The Works?
British heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne is reportedly in talks with several studios, to discuss turning his recent autobiography, "I Am Ozzy" into a feature length movie. At the moment, no further information is available but the film could well be snapped up as in the past, biopics on legendary musicans such as Ray Charles, Johnny Cash and most recently Ian Dury, have proven to be big successes.

On the 31 Dec 1999, no planes came crashing out of the sky, nuclear bombs went off or microwave ovens tried to eat anyone. However, times were about to change and in the metal scene change was already well underway. Let us take a stroll through the decade in metal that was.
Many of the 90s big names like Emperor and Pantera prepared to give their last venomous scream dying off in the wake of ever diminishing interest in the metal scene that had plagued the 90s. In the year 2000 a band named “Limp Bizkit” came out with an album called "Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavoured Water" and in a storm nu-metal took over the public perception of heavy music, changing the face of metal irreparably. Although nu-metal had already been pioneered by Korn, bands like Deftones, Disturbed, Mudvayne and Linkin Park all had breakout releases in 2000. More...

Heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne has announced that after the negative reaction to the plan of naming his new studio album, "Soul Sucka," he's going to allow the fans to pick it's name. Speaking to VH1, Ozzy said:
"This time, before I even announce what I'm going to call it, I'm going to get a list of names and post it on my website and find out which people like the best."

Ozzy spoke to Sirius XM Radio on the topic of Ozzfest 2010, revealing that it is happening and will be a touring festival once again, as opposed to a destination festival. Ozzy Osbourne To Appear On Howard Stern Show
Continuing on his "I Am Ozzy" book tour, the Prince of Darkness will descend upon The Howard Stern Show tomorrow morning, Tuesday January 26th. Following that interview you can catch Ozzy on the Opie and Anthony radio program as well. Then later tomorrow evening Ozzy has his 3rd U.S. book signing at Borders at 10 Columbus Circle in Manhattan at 7pm.

Ozzy Osbourne Appears On NBC's "Today Show"
Ozzy Osbourne appeared on NBC-TV's "Today Show" today, Monday, January 25 in support of his "I AM OZZY" autobiography. He'll drop by the show again on Wednesday (January 27), when his wife Sharon co-hosts the latter part of the show. Due out January 25, "I AM OZZY" tells his unbelievable story, for the first time, in OZZY's hilarious, witty, and inimitable voice.
Later on Monday he Ozzy will have two book signings, New York City and a 2nd in Ridgewood, NJ. See the full list of signings here. Stay tuned for more OZZY TV appearances in the coming weeks as well.

As previously reported, Ozzy recently announced he's scrapping the title of "Soul Sucka" for his latest album after receiving a large amount of criticism from his fan base. He also gave the most definite confirmation to date that Ozzfest 2010 will take place, stating "After Ozzfest I’m doing the most extensive tour of my life. It’ll be something like, 3,025 dates."
Ozzy Osbourne Scraps Album Title, Confirms Ozzfest
In a recent message from Ozzy Osbourne bass player Blasko, it was announced that Osbourne has decided not to name his new album, "Soul Sucka" after receiving a large amount of criticism from his fan base. The message reads as follows:
"Been in the studio all week tracking the new Ozzy record. Should be done with my parts by Sunday.
"Until yesterday, the disc was going to be called Soul Sucka. However, Ozzy realized that “None of my fan base liked the title. They were like, 'I can’t imagine me walking around the fucking house with the words 'Soul Sucka' on my T-shirt.' So I was like, 'Fuck it. I’ve got to come up with something else!'" The now untitled set is due out in July, the same month Osbourne says that Ozzfest will return after a one-year break. "After Ozzfest I’m doing the most extensive tour of my life," he says. "It’ll be something like, 3,025 dates."

Ozzy Osbourne has revealed that his next studio album, the first with new guitarist Gus G. of Firewind fame, will be released in the summer of next year, probably around June time. The album will be entitled, "Soul Sucka" and features a song of the same name. Two more revealed song titles for the album include "Let It Die" and "Diggin' Me Down." Stay tuned for further details.

Zakk Wylde To Appear In New Movie "Bones"
It had been previously reported that Zakk Wylde would be making an appearance in the television show "Bones." New information has now been made available that Wylde will actually be performing in a movie titled "Bones" with no connection to the television series. The movie is set for release in 2010 and the teaser trailer can be viewed below.
