Onslaught Looks Back On "The Force"
2016 marked the thirtieth anniversary of arguably the best album in the history of British thrash metal, "The Force," by the group who many consider to be the greatest band in British thrash metal, Onslaught. To celebrate this milestone, the band embarked on a lengthy tour, performing the album in full. When they rolled back in to their home city of Bristol last year, I was fortunate enough not just to witness a phenomenal performance (see review here,) but also to speak with Onslaught co-founder and guitarist, Nige Rockett. In the video below, I talk with Nige about the band's live reputation, hearing rare songs and what we can expect from their forthcoming seventh studio album. More...

Imperial Age Discuss "Warrior Race" And More
Last year, I embarked on a lengthy string of shows and interviews in England, where I was privileged to meet many metal musicians from around the globe. The last show I attended couldn't have been more multicultural, as it featured Orphaned Land from Israel, Voodoo Kungfu from China, Crisalida from Chile and Imperial Age from Russia. I was very impressed by the last of these bands (as I was with all on the groups) and arranged a spur of the moment interview with them while they were at the merch stand. After a series of technical difficulties and delays, I am finally able to present my conversation with these innovative and highly skilled musicians Alexander "Aor" Osipov and Jane "Corn" Odintsova. Morbid Angel Singer Slams Divisive Media Rhetoric
Morbid Angel frontman Steve Tucker, who is currently promoting the band's upcoming album "Kingdoms Disdained", states in an interview he recently gave Metal Mofos:
"Honestly, dude, the most uninformed people in the world have to be poor American people. If you're so poor that you can't afford cable or the Internet to get varying opinions of things, then the opinion that is shoved down your throat is the most uninformed, unnewsworthy thing that you can ever hear."

Sitting Down With Entombed A.D.
In the autumn of last year, I had the pleasure of attending a show which featured Canadian progressive thrash legends Voivod and Swedish death metal favourites, Entombed A.D. (see review here.) Not only was I fortunate enough to see such a combination but I was able to sit down with members of each band and discuss a number of topics. Unfortunately, numerous problems had caused these, and several other interviews from the time, to be delayed, but now after a long wait, these interviews are being uploaded.
At the show, I spoke with both Voivod drummer, Away (which you can check out here) and Entombed A.D. guitarist, Nico Elgstrand. You can check out the interview with the latter below, in which we discussed the reason for the band's name, their latest album, "Dead Dawn" and where to go in Stockholm. More...
