Jungle Rot Premiere New Music Video “Fearmonger”

Jungle Rot‘s tenth studio album will be out in stores on July 20th via Victory Records. The self-titled effort was recorded this past January at Belle City Sound with engineer Chris Djuricic. Dan Swanö (Dark Funeral, Marduk) helmed the mixing and mastering duties. Below you can stream a video for the new single, “Fearmonger“, which features a guest turn from Destruction's Marcel “Schmier” Schirmer.

Comments Jungle Rot vocalist/guitarist Dave Matrise of that:

“We covered the Destruction classic ‘Invincible Force’ some years ago and Schmier told me ours is his favorite Destruction cover he has ever heard from any band. Years later we toured together and right away Schmier approached me to start singing the song with him in concert. His trademark style and my vocals worked so well together that when I began writing this new record, the idea immediately came up to have him as a guest vocalist. He loved it and was honored to be a part of it. That’s how we created ‘Fearmonger.'”

In addition to playing a June 16th show at Reggie’s Rock Club in Chicago, IL Jungle Rot will be out on the road again with Havok and Extinction A.D. next month on this U.S. tour: More...

Aversions Crown Debut New Song & Video

Aversions Crown debut their new song and visualizer video for “The Breeding Process“ streaming below. Says the band of the track:

“We spent some time recently in the studio to develop the blueprint for our 4th Album. We wanted to figure out exactly what sound we were going for and what direction the album would take. The result of this was ‘The Breeding Process‘.

The song paints the disturbing image of a human production farm – aliens abducting humans and using them for inter-species breeding projects.

The song shows hints of a new direction whilst it also includes Aversions Crown‘s DNA from our earlier material. It was mixed and mastered by Will Putney (Thy Art Is Murder, The Acacia Strain) and engineered by Matt Shorter. Enjoy!”

The new track arrives as Aversions Crown head out on this North American tour with The Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel and more: More...
