Umbra Vitae Premiere New Single
Umbra Vitae has unveiled the complete details for their second album, "Light Of Death," slated for release on June 7th via Deathwish Inc. The supergroup recorded the album at GodCity Studio in Salem, MA, under the guidance of Kurt Ballou (Converge) and Zach Weeks. The album's lead single, "Belief Is Obsolete," offers an initial glimpse into the 15-track offering, and is now available for streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you below..
Ballou's collaboration with Umbra Vitae vocalist Jacob Bannon, both members of the veteran metalcore band Converge, brings a sense of familiarity to the project. The lineup also features guitarist/vocalist Mike “Gunface” McKenzie (The Red Chord, Wear Your Wounds, Stomach Earth), guitarist/vocalist Sean Martin (Twitching Tongues, Wear Your Wounds, ex-Hatebreed), bassist/vocalist Greg Weeks (The Red Chord, Sexless Marriage, etc.), and drummer Jon Rice (Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, ex-Job For A Cowboy, etc.).

Better Lovers (Ex-TDEP, Etc.) Premiere New Video
Better Lovers premiere their new single and music video “The Flowering,” now available for streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you below. This song holds a special place as it marks the first collaborative effort of the band, as noted by guitarist Jordan Buckley. The video was directed by Anthony Altamura of Stray From The Path.
Buckley further revealed that despite its official release now, "The Flowering" has been a part of the band's live performances and debuted on SiriusXM on April 2nd. Impressively, this track is just one among seventeen compositions the group has amassed. While many of these are expected to feature on the band's debut album, specific release plans remain undisclosed.

Cognitive Premiere New Music Video “Abhorrence”
Cognitive has set May 17th as the release date for their upcoming album "Abhorrence." The technical death metal band will be launching their fifth studio album through Metal Blade Records. Today Cognitive premiere their new music video for the title track of the band's upcoming album “Abhorrence”, streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below.
For this effort, the New Jersey-based group opted to keep the recording sessions largely in-house. They recorded at the studio of their own drummer, AJ Viana, who also handled production, engineering, and mixing duties. Ryan Williams, formerly of The Black Dahlia Murder, among others, took charge of mastering.

Candy Premiere New Single "eXistenZ"
Candy's upcoming third studio full-length, "It’s Inside You", is set to be released on June 07th via Relapse Records. The record was co-produced by the band's guitarist Michael Quick and Uniform's Ben Greenberg, with mixing handled by Converge's Kurt Ballou.
The first single, "eXistenZ", seems to take its title from the 1999 David Cronenberg sci-fi horror movie of the same name. The track is now available for streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you below.
