Today French shoegaze/indie act Alcest release their brand new video for "Améthyste," taken from their new record "Les Chants De L'Aurore" (released 21st June 2024 via Nuclear Blast Records). It was the 7th album of the band.

Neige comments: "Our long time friend and collaborator William Lacalmontie followed us during our last European tour promoting Les Chants de L’Aurore in order to make a music video documenting our experience and the shows we have been playing every night. I asked him not only to focus on the band but also pay homage to our fans, our crew, our community who have been so supportive to us since the early days of Alcest. This video is the way we found to tell you thank you.

"Our world tour is keeping on in North America from February to mid March, and then we will go to Asia. We Iive such a beautiful adventure, and all this would be impossible without your love and support. Take care and see you very soon again!" More...

Rotting Christ Debuts New Live Video

Rotting Christ has stood the test of time. Over the past 35 years, Sakis Tolis, his brother Themis and their brothers-in-arms have risen from Greece's blackened catacombs to become one of metal's most formidably reliable forces. Backed by a legacy that has both defined and defied black metal, last year, the Greek legends carved out a new set of dark, melodic scriptures with fresh rebellion on the unbreakable "Pro Xristou."

Now, Rotting Christ are celebrating 35 years of evil existence with a new live album. This two-hour set was recorded at the Lycabettus Hill Theater in the band's hometown of Athens. Like a Greek pantheon, it spans the band's entire career, from early evil classics to the pillars of their Hellenic legacy, including the stadium-shaking title track from their spirited eleventh album. You can check out the video below.

"35 Years Of Evil Existence - Live in Lycabettus" comes out April 4th on Season of Mist. More...
