XCOMM Premiere New Single & Music Video

XCOMM released a combined music video for their tracks “Hot Pursuit / One And Nothing.” The teenage hardcore outfit enlisted director Dean Karr — known for his work with Slayer and Deftones — to helm the clip.

Both songs were produced by Ross Robinson, whose résumé includes Korn and Slipknot, and are being issued via Blowed Out Records, a label he oversees alongside Ghostemane and Bill Armstrong.

Notably, the band’s lineup includes drummer Revel Ian, son of Scott Ian of Anthrax and Mr. Bungle fame.

The HU Guest On New Track "Pray To The Sun"

Gold-certified Mongolian folk metal outfit The HU have teamed up with Declan de Barra on the track “Pray To The Sun,” composed by Sonya Belousova and Giona Ostinelli.

The song was created for the second season of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the One Piece anime/manga franchise. Season two of One Piece is set to premiere in theaters and on Netflix on March 10th.

WASTE Premiere New Single & Music Video

Minneapolis, MN deathcore outfit WASTE have premiered a new music video for their track “Concrete Casket.” The song serves as the opening cut on their upcoming six-track EP, “The Weight Of Everything,” which is slated for an April 24th release through Seek & Strike.

AlphaSix & LarcɆnia RoɆ Singer Debut New Single

AlphaSix have recruited Ryan Vail — frontman of LarcɆnia RoɆ and Synestia — for their newly released single, “No Gods No Kings Only Mother.” Both the track and its accompanying artwork take inspiration from the acclaimed BioShock series. A music video for the song has also premiered, with the band commenting, “Ryan brought a ferocity to this track that perfectly embodies the chaos and tragedy of this universe we’ve built.”

The group say their use of AI in their visual presentation is tied to their ongoing narrative centered around an eponymous rogue AI, which they have been developing as part of a broader thematic universe across their music. However, they emphasize that artificial intelligence played no role in the writing or recording of the material itself.
